T2 launches further significant cost-cutting plan, but currently has no plans to lay off employees

[T2 has launched a further significant cost reduction plan, but currently has no plans to lay off employees] According to Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick, although the company has launched a cost reduction strategy, it currently has no plans to lay off employees. Zelnick said in a statement after today's financial results: "Our strategy is based on the creativity, innovation and efficiency of the company. We are currently implementing a significant cost-cutting program across the entire business to maximize profits. "The new measures complement and are more aggressive than our previous cost reduction plans and we aim to deliver even greater impact as we roll out our outstanding launch programme." Take-Two announced a cost-cutting plan in February last year, which resulted in layoffs of employees in multiple departments. In an interview with the media, Zelnick was asked whether the new plan also involved layoffs, to which he said that this was not a possibility at this time. According to him, the company's largest expenditure item is actually marketing, so Zelnick believes that this aspect can be optimized and opportunities can be found in third-party expenses, software, suppliers, and supply services.
