This position indicates that if negotiations do exist, FromSoftware, as a subsidiary, may not Be directly involved. Since Sony acquired Bungie in 2022, it has been actively expanding its game studio lineup. As an important partner of PlayStation, FromSoftware has always been regarded as a potential acquisition target for Sony. Currently, Sony owns 14% of FS.
