Bigo Live VIP and SVIP in October 2026: What Bigo's Own Terms Say vs What Sellers Claim

Bigo's own VIP terms describe a monthly auto-renewing subscription paid in non-refundable Diamonds, with no price list and no mention of ban protection. Sellers quote $3,750–$7,500 for VIP30 anyway. I priced the 150,000 Diamonds they tie to it on Oct 26, 2026: $2,505–$4,350, depending on where you top up Bigo Live Diamonds.

If you've played Bigo for a while, you've seen the VIP pitch: "Anti-Ban Privileges" in one headline, "Save 30% on Diamonds" in another, and a VIP30 price tag of about $4,710. I read Bigo's actual VIP Service Agreement, then lined it up against the seller pages that rank for the same words. The two don't match, and the seller pages don't even match each other.

A quick key before we start. Every number in this guide carries one of these tags:

  • Official comes from a Bigo page.
  • Seller claim comes from a third-party site, often one that sells Diamonds. Treat it as a rumor until Bigo confirms it.
  • Computed is my own arithmetic, with the formula shown.

The short version: Bigo's text vs the sales pitch

What Bigo's VIP terms actually say

The only official VIP document I could find is the VIP Service Agreement on activity.bigo.tv. I fetched it on Oct 26, 2026. The page shows no publish date, and its effective date still reads "Expected Jan 2025". Here's what it covers, clause by clause.

TopicWhat the terms sayWhat's missing
PaymentOfficial Users "will use in-app Diamonds, earned or purchased, to subscribe". Diamonds used for VIP subscriptions are non-refundable.No amount in Diamonds or dollars.
Auto-renewOfficial A one-month VIP fee is automatically deducted within the last 48 hours of each month (every 30-day period from the activation date). No deduction if your VIP level was upgraded during the term. What happens to your level if the balance is too low.
CancelOfficial ME page → My VIP → the button → Subscriptions. What happens to the paid month after you cancel.
LevelsOfficial "User Level" (based on registration time and activity) is separate from "VIP Membership Level", which is tied to User Level ranges.Any level table, threshold or cost.
PerksOfficial General wording only: "enhanced access to content, priority customer support, exclusive in-app special effects and rewards".A perk list per level. Any ban, mute or kick protection.
ChangesOfficial At least 15 days' notice. A three-month transition applied after launch.A launch date. The page still says "Expected".

Notice what's not there: no VIP30, no 150,000, no discount percentages, no "anti-ban". All of that comes from sellers.

One conflict worth knowing. Seller pages describe VIP as a level you reach by cumulative spending. Bigo's terms describe a subscription you renew every month. Both can't be the whole story, and nobody I found explains how they fit together. Check your own VIP screen.

What one real VIP screen looked like

A creator called Appify recorded the VIP purchase screen in a YouTube video dated Sep 2, 2025. It's one person's phone, in one country and app version, so your prices may differ. The Purchase VIP 1 popup showed:

  • Monthly: 80 Diamonds (the screen labels it 80 a month).
  • 1 Month(s): 88 Diamonds.
  • 3 Months: 255 Diamonds, which is 85 a month (Computed 255 ÷ 3).
  • The text on screen: "activate VIP to instantly receive 64 VIP diamonds, and 16 VIP diamonds after 30 days", and "Monthly automatic payment, cancel anytime".

Here's what that's worth in dollars. Computed as 80 Diamonds × price per Diamond, using the Oct 26, 2026 prices below.

Where the 80 Diamonds come fromPrice per DiamondCost of 80 Diamonds
BitTopup product page$0.0167$1.34
SEAGM US (sale)$0.0197$1.58
Codashop US (10,000 pack)$0.0199$1.59
App Store US best pack (4,193 for $99.99)$0.0238$1.91
App Store US smallest pack (10 for $0.29)$0.0290$2.32

That's the entry level on one phone. It shows why a "VIP costs thousands" story needs a closer look: the price depends on which level you mean, and Bigo doesn't publish a table.

A small detail: 64 + 16 = 80, the same number as the monthly price (Computed). What VIP Diamonds can be spent on isn't explained in the terms I read, so check it in the app before you pay.

VIP30 and the $3,750–$7,500 problem

Five seller pages give a dollar price for VIP30. All five agree on one thing: they tie it to 150,000 Diamonds. That threshold is itself a seller claim, because Bigo's terms list no thresholds. Past that, the dollar figure changes from page to page.

Page (as re-read Oct 26, 2026)Page dateVIP30 price it states
buffget, "SVIP vs VIP: Full 2026 Cost Comparison"2026/01/16Seller claim "approx $3750-$7500"

BitTopup News, "BIGO VIP vs SVIP 2026"2026-02-09Seller claim $4,705.50 (web), $4,710 (in-app)
buffget, "VIP 2026: Anti-Ban Privileges"2026/03/10Seller claim about $4,710
BitTopup article, "VIP vs SVIP: $15K Savings on 50K Diamonds"2025-11-29Seller claim $3,750–$7,500

Yes, two of those rows are BitTopup's own pages, and I'm not asking you to trust them. One of them repeats the buffget range. BitTopup's own pages also clash with each other: one puts VIP10 at 1,667 Diamonds for $42 and quotes $0.3474 per Diamond, while other pages say 10,000 Diamonds and use $0.03137 per Diamond. That's about an 11-times gap.

Do the dollar figures even add up?

Let's check. Divide each claimed price by 150,000 and you get the price per 100 Diamonds each page is silently assuming.

Claimed VIP30 priceFormulaImplied price per 100 DiamondsSeen in any shop on Oct 26?

$7,5007,500 ÷ 150,000 × 100$5.00No. No channel I checked comes close.

The seller pages also trip over their own arithmetic. On one buffget page, VIP49's 49,000 Diamonds are $1,440, which implies $0.0294 a Diamond. The same page says a Diamond costs $0.03137, which gives $1,537.13 (Computed 49,000 × 0.03137). The renewal has the same gap: $576 stated against $614.85 computed.

What 150,000 Diamonds really cost, by channel

This is the part nobody else prints. Computed as 150,000 × the price per Diamond that each page showed on Oct 26, 2026. I covered what 100 Diamonds cost by channel on Oct 22, and all four channels were unchanged four days later.

Prices from each store's own page, observed Oct 26, 2026: BitTopup product page ($1.67 per 100), SEAGM US sale price ($1.97 per 100), Codashop US 10,000 pack ($198.99), Apple App Store US best pack (4,193 for $99.99) and smallest pack (10 for $0.29). The VIP thresholds are seller claims, not Bigo's. Bigo's terms say VIP is a monthly subscription, so a one-off "cumulative" total may not be what you'd actually spend.

Bar chart comparing computed dollar cost of 150,000 Bigo Live Diamonds at shop prices ($2,505 to $3,577) with seller-claimed VIP30 prices of $3,750, $4,710 and $7,500

Original chart by BitTopup, data as of Oct 26, 2026. Dark bars are computed from shop prices; orange bars are seller claims.

Read this before you quote my $2,505. It uses the $1.67 per 100 shown on BitTopup's product page, which is my own site. That page also says "Last checked: July 2026", labels the price "42% OFF" a $2.77 "was" price, and carries a title that says "Up to 40% Off". BitTopup's separate price-comparison page showed $1.86 per 100 (updated 2026-07-08). At $1.86, 150,000 Diamonds come to $2,790 (Computed 150,000 ÷ 100 × 1.86). Our own pages disagree, so go by the total at checkout on BitTopup's Bigo Live Diamonds page, and do the same on any other shop.

Does VIP protect you from bans?

Short answer: nobody has shown me proof, and Bigo's own text doesn't promise it. Sellers sell it hard, though.

ClaimWho says itWhat Bigo's own text says
VIP has "anti-ban privileges"; VIP31–50 give "robust account protection"Seller claim buffget, 2026/03/10Official The VIP terms mention no ban protection.
SVIP tiers give "anti-ban" and "anti-mute", up to "1-year protection"Seller claim buffget, 2026/03/10Official SVIP isn't in the VIP terms.
VIP gives "zero protection"; even VIP60 has "no anti-kick, anti-mute, or anti-ban"Seller claim buffget, 2026/02/01Same site, opposite claim, about five weeks earlier.
VIP gives "10–25% extra diamonds on recharges"Seller claim BitTopup article, 2025-11-29Official I found this in no official source.

So one site says both "VIP has anti-ban privileges" and "VIP has zero protection". At least one of those is wrong.

What Bigo's own pages say about bans

  • Penalties are discretionary. Bigo's Community Guidelines list "removal of content, account restrictions, suspension, or device bans, at our sole discretion and, where appropriate, without prior notice". They also mention freezing or deducting wallet balances. (Quoted from a search excerpt; the page itself is JavaScript-rendered and shows no date.)
  • Some bans are final. In a reply to a Trustpilot review dated Mar 20, 2025, Bigo wrote that "bans resulting from serious violations may be permanent and not subject to appeal".
  • Appeals aren't a guarantee. Bigo's Support Center (updated Jul 15, 2026) says you can appeal, and that submitting one "does not guarantee that the restriction will be removed".
  • Nothing about money. I found no official page saying a higher VIP level or a paid tier changes how a ban is handled.

Where the "SVIP unbans you" idea may come from

There's a YouTube video titled "Unban with SVIP Points" (about 8,260 views, roughly two years old). Two Japanese blogs describe SVIP points being exchanged for something called "BAN解除", for 200 points at SVIP2 and above. Neither blog says whether that means lifting an account ban or removing someone's mute in a live room, and both say only Japanese recharges count. Neither is dated. I can't tell which it is, and I wouldn't pay for it on that basis.

A player on X said on Dec 4, 2025 that they were told a high-ranked paying customer could "buy their way out" of a ban. I couldn't confirm who said it or whether it's true. Treat it as a rumor.

My take as a long-time player: if "ban protection" is the main reason you're thinking about VIP, don't. The only thing that's actually written down by Bigo is the subscription and the no-refund rule. Follow the Community Guidelines and keep your receipts.

SVIP break-even math: when would the discount beat the fee?

Bigo's VIP terms don't cover SVIP, and I found no official SVIP price list. What exists is a list of eight tiers that buffget and older BitTopup articles repeat. I treat all of it as Seller claim.

The test is simple. If an SVIP tier charges a fee for 30 days and promises a discount on Diamond purchases, you break even when:

break-even monthly Diamond spend = fee per 30 days ÷ discount Spend more than that each month, and the discount is worth more than the fee. Spend less, and you lose money.

Tier (seller-stated)FeeDiscountFee per 30 daysBreak-even spend per month
Bronze Basilisk$150 / 30d3%$150$5,000
Silver Centaur$300 / 30d5%$300$6,000
Gold Phoenix$500 / 30d10%$500$5,000
Platinum Dragon$1,000 / 30d15%$1,000$6,666.67
Man of Steel$750 / 30d25%$750$3,000
Diamond Unicorn$1,500 / 30d20%$1,500$7,500
Black Lion$2,500 / 30d30%$2,500$8,333.33
Platinum Phantom, 90 days$999 / 90d30%$333$1,110
Platinum Phantom, 1 year$3,500 / yr30%$287.67$958.90

Fee and discount columns: Seller claim (buffget 2026/01/16 and 2026/02/01, BitTopup 2025-11 and 2026-02-09). The last two columns are Computed fee per 30 days = price ÷ days × 30, then ÷ discount.

Horizontal bar chart of computed break-even monthly Diamond spend for each seller-stated Bigo SVIP tier, from $959 for the Platinum Phantom yearly plan to $8,333 for Black Lion

Original chart by BitTopup, data as of Oct 26, 2026. Computed from seller-stated prices, not from Bigo.

What the table is telling you

  • The seller tiers want $3,000 to $8,333 of Diamond spending a month before the discount covers a 30-day fee. Only the Platinum Phantom 90-day and yearly plans come in lower, at $1,110 and $958.90.
  • The tiers don't climb in order. Man of Steel ($750, 25%) costs less than Platinum Dragon ($1,000, 15%) and gives a bigger discount. That's how the seller pages list them.
  • buffget gives a break-even of $9,722 a month for the Phantom yearly plan. My calculation gives $958.90, ten times lower. $9,722 equals 3,500 ÷ 12 ÷ 0.03, so the page seems to have used 3% instead of 30% (Computed, my inference).

The same math at two example spending levels

Say you'd spend $1,000 or $5,000 a month on Diamonds anyway. These are hypothetical spends, not data. Computed as net = spend × discount − fee per 30 days.

Tier (seller-stated)Net at $1,000 a monthNet at $5,000 a month
Bronze Basilisk (3%, $150)−$120$0
Silver Centaur (5%, $300)−$250−$50
Gold Phoenix (10%, $500)−$400$0
Platinum Dragon (15%, $1,000)−$850−$250
Man of Steel (25%, $750)−$500+$500
Diamond Unicorn (20%, $1,500)−$1,300−$500
Black Lion (30%, $2,500)−$1,750−$1,000

There's a catch the seller pages skip: a discount off what? If it's off the in-app price, and you'd otherwise buy from a shop that's already cheaper, the saving shrinks. On Oct 26, BitTopup's $1.67 per 100 sat about 30% below the App Store's best pack at $2.38 (Computed 1 − 1.67 ÷ 2.38 = 29.8%). I couldn't verify which price a 25% SVIP discount applies to, or whether the discount works on outside purchases at all.

One more thing to know. The two Japanese blogs I mentioned describe a completely different SVIP model: you qualify by how much you recharged the previous month, in six levels that reset monthly, and they say only Japanese recharges count. Those blogs are undated and unofficial. So at least two SVIP models are circulating, and Bigo has published neither.

How to check and cancel your VIP auto-renew

Bigo's terms give one path. Follow it before the last 48 hours of your monthly period, because that's when the next fee is deducted.

  1. Open Bigo Live and tap Me.
  2. Tap My VIP.
  3. Tap the button the terms call "[button]". The agreement doesn't say what's printed on it, so look for the subscription or settings button on your screen.
  4. Tap Subscriptions and cancel the VIP subscription there.
  5. Take a screenshot of the screen showing it's off, and keep it.
  6. Check your Diamond balance again before the end of the month. If a fee still comes out, contact support through Me → Help & Feedback → Feedback with the screenshot.

Things the terms don't say, so I won't guess: whether you keep VIP for the rest of a month you've paid for, and what happens to your level after a lapse. One more rule from the terms: no fee is deducted if your VIP level was upgraded during the current term.

PK scoring: what's confirmed and what's rumor

This one comes up in every VIP chat, so a short check. Bigo's official PK guide (dated Jun 9, 2025, updated Feb 4, 2026) says points come mainly from gifts, and that the more valuable the gift, the more points it adds. The higher score wins. Duration is "usually a few minutes to over ten". The guide gives no exact point values and no exact time.

Bigo's Multi Room PK page (published Nov 12, 2025, updated Aug 21, 2026) describes a newer scoring system: "Double Points" early, a "1.5x Boost" mid-battle, and "Explosive Point Gain" in the last seconds. It says this applies only to Multi Room PK battles.

QuestionBigo (official)buffget, 2026/03/26joytify, Dec 18, 2025gamebar, 04/19/2026

Event rebatesNot published"50–85% Bean rebates""50–85% Bean rebates"Not stated

Three honest observations. First, only buffget gives a points-per-Diamond number or the S1–S6 server idea, and Bigo doesn't confirm either. Second, joytify and buffget share several exact numbers (40–60%, 50–85%, 1.5x), so they look like one source, not two. Third, I found no page that tells a player how to find out which server their account is on.

If you do take buffget's "1 Diamond = 1 Bean" and its "210 Beans = $1" at face value, a Bean is worth $0.004762 (Computed 1 ÷ 210). Set against what a viewer pays per Diamond, that's 28.5% on BitTopup, 24.2% on SEAGM and 20.0% on the App Store's best pack. It's a rough ceiling built on two unofficial numbers. It is not Bigo's payout split.

Video by HaptiX on YouTube (Dec 14, 2025). The uploader's chapters mark PK battles at 0:55 and SVIP invisible entry and VIP perks at 1:35. It covers basic PK, not the newer Multi Room scoring.

Bigo also states three things it will never do:

  • Ask for your Bigo password or a one-time verification code.
  • Ask you to pay an individual to recover an account or remove a restriction.
  • Ask you to send money to an individual to release Diamonds, Beans or a withdrawal.

If you want a longer step-by-step, BitTopup has a Bigo Live ban appeal walkthrough. Use only the contact addresses on Bigo's own Support Center, and note that I couldn't confirm one other address that article mentions.

What players report (paraphrased, and none of it official):

  • An Oct 18, 2026 review on PissedConsumer says a live function was banned after a manual audit judged the user underage, and nobody asked for proof of age.
  • Reclame Aqui showed 18 complaints and 0 company replies for Apr 1–Sep 30, 2026.
  • One PissedConsumer user said that contacting support over and over got them unbanned about 15 days after a rejected appeal. That's one case, not a pattern.
  • Bigo's own recent restrictions and returns are in the timeline below, including Turkey's block on Feb 14, 2026. I found no official statement on whether that block has ended.

Video by HaptiX on YouTube (Oct 14, 2025). Mostly about recovering a login. The uploader's chapter "Suspended accounts and support help" starts at 1:15. It's not a ban-appeal tutorial.

Original chart by BitTopup, data as of Oct 26, 2026. Events are evenly spaced, not to time scale. Red marks a restriction, orange a warning, green a lift.

The scams I'd watch for

  • "I can help you withdraw." Replies under a widely viewed Beans-withdrawal question on X (Sep 20–21, 2026) offered to "help you withdraw it" or give a "straight cash out" by DM. Bigo says it will never ask you to send money to an individual to release Beans or a withdrawal.
  • Paid or "guaranteed" host work. On Oct 25, 2026 an X post outside Bigo's channels advertised a stream host job with $900 in month one, paid in crypto, "no fees". I can't say whether it's a scam. But Bigo's own Is Bigo Live Safe page lists "Promises of guaranteed income in exchange for upfront fees" as a warning sign, and its Jul 22, 2026 scam article lists guaranteed earnings and requests for payment among its 13 red flags.
  • "You won 90,000 Diamonds, top up first." A PissedConsumer reviewer (Feb 18, 2026) said a Valentine's "lottery" told them they'd won 90,000 Diamonds but they needed 5,000 first. They put in $80 and then saw a zero balance.

Since I sell Diamonds, here's the full picture. Bigo's own safe page lists unofficial recharge links among things to watch for, and Bigo hasn't published a list of authorized resellers. • iOS: version 6.53.0 went live on Oct 23, 2026, 11:15 (UTC+8). Bigo's note: "The lastest version contains bug fixes and performance improvements" (spelling as published). The version before it on my last check (Oct 22) was 6.51.2, from Jul 23, 2026.
  • Android: the Google Play page says "Updated on Oct 21, 2026", with the same one-line note. Play doesn't show a version number on the page itself.
  • BIGHOST NIGHT: Bigo's Halloween livestream event. Bigo's X account (Oct 21 and 22, 2026) gives the run as Oct 17 to Nov 06, with Costume & Makeup, Party & Chat, and Singing & Dance shows. The App Store event card shows a different window, Oct 23 to Nov 5, and doesn't explain why.
  • Rewards: I found no official reward, ranking or Diamond-threshold details for BIGHOST NIGHT, and no official link between it and VIP or SVIP. Check the event page in the app before you spend anything on it.

Quick answers

Is Bigo VIP a one-time purchase?

No. Bigo's terms describe a monthly auto-renewing subscription paid in Diamonds. The fee is deducted within the last 48 hours of each month.

How do I cancel VIP auto-renew?

Me → My VIP → the button → Subscriptions. Do it before the last 48 hours of your monthly period.

Can I get a refund on Diamonds spent on VIP?

Bigo's terms say Diamonds used for VIP subscriptions are non-refundable.

What does VIP30 cost?

Bigo publishes no price. Sellers state $3,750–$7,500, $4,705.50 or $4,710. On Oct 26, 2026, the 150,000 Diamonds sellers tie to VIP30 computed to $2,505 to $4,350 across the channels I checked.

Does VIP stop bans or mutes?

Bigo's VIP terms mention no such protection. Seller pages contradict each other on it, and Bigo says bans for serious violations may be permanent.

Is SVIP worth it?

Only if your monthly Diamond spend is above fee ÷ discount. On seller-stated tiers that's $959 to $8,333 a month, and Bigo hasn't confirmed the prices or discounts.

How long does a ban appeal take?

Bigo gives no time for ordinary bans. Only hacked-account or login appeals have a stated review time: three working days.

My Diamonds haven't arrived after a top-up. What now?

Wait 30 minutes, then contact Bigo support with your order receipt and BIGO ID, through Me → Help & Feedback → Feedback.

Will Bigo ever ask me to pay a person?

No. Bigo says it will never ask you to pay an individual to recover an account, remove a restriction, or release Diamonds, Beans or a withdrawal.

All prices, versions and dates in this guide are as of Oct 26, 2026 (UTC+8), unless a date is given. Seller claims, computed figures and official statements are tagged as such. Bigo changes terms, packs and promos often, so the number on your screen or checkout is the one that counts.
