Wuthering Waves Phase II Pull Plan (Oct 2026): Which Banner First, What a Pull Really Costs, and Whether to Save for Lily
As of Oct 24, 2026: pick the one Phase II Resonator you actually need, because all three banners share one guarantee counter. A featured 5-star averages about 83 pulls (computed), roughly $120–$183 depending on where you buy Wuthering Waves Lunite. Lily, the 3.8 headliner, still has no official banner date.

Every number below is dated and tagged, because most pull guides out there are either from 2024 or written by someone selling you currency. The tags: Official means Kuro's own pages or posts. Computed is my arithmetic, with the formula shown. Community is a player or fan estimate. Secondary is a third-party site.
Here's what you get:
A banner-by-banner plan for Phase II (Suoming, Lucilla, Lynae) built on the official shared-guarantee rule.
A "save for Lily?" calculator that uses the dates Kuro has actually confirmed.
Real cost per pull across the App Store, Codashop, SEAGM and BitTopup, with first-purchase and Monthly Card math.
What a featured 5-star costs here versus Genshin, Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero, plus an honest take on soft pity.
About "1 pull = 160 Astrite." It's the figure every guide uses, and I use it too. But I couldn't find a Kuro page that states it: Kuro's Convene Details names the three Tides and their rates, not an Astrite price. Treat 160 as widely cited, and confirm it in the in-game Shop before you spend real money. Lunite to Astrite at 1:1 is also from secondary sources.

Source: Kuro's Phase II Convene notice (Oct 21, 2026) and Kuro's posts on X (Oct 22), which are where the Suoming and Unspoken Rue banners are confirmed. The written notice lists Lucilla, Lynae, Freeze Frame and Spectrum Blaster.
End date check: Kuro's notice says Nov 11, 11:59 server time. A few fan sites say Nov 12. Kuro's notices don't state the UTC offset of the America or Europe servers, so trust the countdown on the in-game Convene page, not a blog.
One more official detail that matters for planning: Kuro says each featured Resonator is exclusive to her banner and "will not be available by other means once the event ends." Lucilla's and Lynae's Wavebands also sit in the Afterglow Coral Store, limited to 2 purchases each, but only until their banners end.
Suoming is Phase II's only debut: a 5-star Electro Sword Resonator. Kuro's own profile card tags her "Unison Support." She's been playable for just two days, so I'm not going to rank her damage. Any tier list this early is a guess, and I'd rather give you the cost to get her than an opinion on her kit.

Which Phase II banner first? It's a "who do I want" question, not a pity question
Here's the rule that changes how you plan. Kuro's Phase II notice says:
"The guarantee count is shared among all Featured Resonator Convene events and is carried over until a 5-Star Resonator is obtained."
That's Official text, repeated on each Featured Resonator banner. In plain English, a pull on Lynae's banner counts toward Suoming's guarantee and the other way round. The count only resets when a 5-star Resonator drops, so nothing is wasted by hopping banners.
Original animation by BitTopup, rules as of Oct 24, 2026. The bar is an illustration, not real pull data.
What this means in practice
Choose your target before you pull. The 5-star you get belongs to the banner you're on when it drops. Switching mid-way is free, but you can't go back and change what already dropped.
Don't "split" your pulls to be clever. Ten pulls on each of the three banners is the same as thirty on one. The counter doesn't care.
Your leftover count carries in. If you stopped partway earlier, that count is still there. Check the Convene history screen before you start, because that's your real starting point.
Weapon pulls are a separate bank. Featured Weapon banners (Forging Tide) share their own counter, and the 5-star weapon is always the featured one: no 50/50.
The part Kuro doesn't spell out. If you lose a 50/50, the next 5-star is guaranteed to be "the featured one" (Kuro's Convene Details). Players report that this guarantee follows you to another featured banner, so a loss on Suoming could mean a guaranteed Lucilla or Lynae next. Kuro's Phase II text doesn't say that in so many words, so verify it on the in-game Convene page before you build a plan on it. Community

What it costs to want more than one thing
Average pulls come from Kuro's 1.8% average rate: 1 ÷ 0.018 = 55.6 pulls per 5-star, and ×1.5 for the 50/50 plus guarantee = 83.3 pulls per featured Resonator. Worst case is 2 × 80 = 160. Astrite is pulls × 160. Computed

The weapon row is Suoming plus Unspoken Rue, the Sword that players treat as her signature. A featured weapon averages 55.6 pulls (1 ÷ 0.018) and tops out at 80.
So here's my honest take. If you want one Phase II character, pull her banner and ignore the other two. If you want two, order doesn't change the average cost, so go first for the one you'd regret missing most while your budget is full. If you want all three, that's roughly 250 pulls on average, and most accounts shouldn't plan for it.

Official Lily teaser from the Wuthering Waves YouTube channel (uploaded Oct 7, 2026, UTC+8).
For pattern-spotting: the 3.7 preview stream ran on Sept 19, eleven days before the Sept 30 launch. If 3.8 follows the same gap and starts around Nov 12, the stream would land near Nov 1. That's my guess from one data point, not a schedule. Leak posts point to a similar window (a late-October stream, a mid-November start), but they're leaks, not announcements.
How many pulls will you really have by Nov 11?
Kuro doesn't publish a per-version Astrite total, so here is everything I could verify in its own posts. The first four rows are Official unless tagged.

My read: skipping Phase II to chase Lily is a bet on an undated banner. The Phase II characters are available now, with an end date. If Suoming is your need, pull her. If nothing here is a need, banking is a perfectly good plan. Just be clear that you're banking for a date Kuro hasn't given. Want to see how a whole patch of free pulls adds up, line by line? Computed The first-purchase bonus is secondary-sourced (Codashop's guide, Fandom, DayOneFix): the first top-up of each pack tier gives double the base Lunite, so first-purchase pulls = 2 × base ÷ 160. It isn't shown on the official listings I read. *I couldn't verify whether a UID top-up through a reseller triggers it, so treat that column as "if it applies."
Prices move. BitTopup's prices change, and I saw different numbers for the same pack on different BitTopup pages while researching. The number on your checkout screen is the only one that counts. Its "40% OFF" badge compares against a crossed-out price that's above Apple's own, so measure the saving against the real list price: about 19% to 28% below the App Store's US prices on the six main packs, and 14% for SEAGM's sale price (computed, Oct 24, 2026).
Worked example: you hold 45 pulls and want one featured Resonator
Average need is 83.3 pulls, which is 13,333 Astrite. You hold 45 pulls (7,200 Astrite), so the gap is about 6,130 Astrite (38.3 pulls). Prices are from the table above.
The one big pack: 6,480 + 1,600 = 8,080 Astrite for $99.99 (App Store), $85.99 (SEAGM) or $72.51 (BitTopup). It covers the gap and leaves about 1,950 Astrite (12 pulls) toward Lily.
Two mid packs: 3,280 + 600 and 1,980 + 260 add up to 6,120 Astrite, only 13 short. That costs $79.98 (App Store), $68.78 (SEAGM) or $62.86 (BitTopup).
If you've never bought the 3,280 tier: its first purchase gives 6,560 Astrite for $49.99 (App Store). That alone covers the gap, if the double bonus applies to you.
If you only need a small top-up: look at the Monthly Card first (next section). Per pull it's by far the cheapest source.
Monthly Card and passes
Kuro's own store text for the subscription says you get 300 Lunites at purchase and 90 Astrite a day for 30 days. That's 300 + 90 × 30 = 3,000 Astrite, or 18.75 pulls. Official contents, Computed total.

*Counts the 5 Radiant Tides and 680 Astrite ÷ 160 only, since Lustrous Tides don't work on the featured Resonator banners. The same $4.99, 3,000-currency card exists in Genshin, Star Rail and Zenless, so the card is a genre standard, not a Wuthering Waves perk.
Two things trip people up. First, you'll see "2,700 Astrite" and "3,000 Astrite" quoted for the same card. 2,700 is only the daily part (90 × 30); 3,000 adds the 300 Lunites. Second, a table floating around for 3.7 lists 3,780 Astrite for the version. That equals 90 × 42 days, which is my inference for how they got it: a card covering the whole version, not a single 30-day card. I couldn't find an official statement on auto-renew, so check your store's subscription page.
If you buy a card today, Oct 24, and claim every day through Nov 11, you collect 300 + 90 × 19 = 2,010 Astrite (about 12.6 pulls) before Phase II ends, and the card keeps paying into 3.8. Computed
Original chart by BitTopup, computed at App Store US list prices, data as of Oct 24, 2026.
Where this leaves you: the Monthly Card first, a first-purchase pack second, and regular packs last. A regional note too. Apple's price for the 980 pack isn't the same everywhere: one secondary price tracker (scraped Oct 21, 2026) showed it from about $11.64 in Japan to about $22.03 in Colombia. The "Japan VPN" price trick that comes up in forums is unverified, and dodging a store's region rules can break its terms, so I'd skip it.
One featured 5-star here versus Genshin, Star Rail and Zenless
Same method for every game: expected pulls per 5-star = 1 ÷ the published average rate, and per featured character = that × 1.5 (the 50/50 plus the guarantee; Genshin uses × 1.45 because of its 55% "Capturing Radiance" win rate). To keep the money comparison fair, I priced every game at the App Store's $14.99 / 980 tier with no bonus, which works out to $2.45 a pull. Computed

Wuthering Waves rates: Kuro's Convene Details Official. The 1.6% averages and worst-case figures for the other three come from GachaWiki (Secondary), which cites in-game text. All games use a 160-per-pull currency. Observed Oct 24, 2026.
Original chart by BitTopup, computed from published rates, data as of Oct 24, 2026. Infinity Nikki is per outfit piece only, so it isn't comparable.
At the same price per pull, Wuthering Waves comes out about 8–11% cheaper per featured 5-star, thanks to the 0.8% base rate and the 80-pull ceiling. That's a real edge, but not a different universe. A first-purchase pack or the Monthly Card moves your cost more than switching games does. Some blogs quote "about 54 per 5-star, about 81 per featured." They use community soft-pity models. I stuck to Kuro's published rates so you can check every step.
Soft pity: the number nobody can officially give you
Kuro publishes three things: the 0.8% base rate, the 1.8% average rate that includes the guarantee, and the 80-pull hard pity. It does not publish where the odds start to climb. Official (checked Oct 24, 2026; no soft-pity figure found.) Everything else is somebody's estimate, and they conflict:

A model, not a Kuro number
Community / Secondary Collected Oct 24, 2026. These are conflicting estimates, so there's no single "right" row.
Here's the useful part. That community model says 54.1 pulls per 5-star on average. Kuro's 1.8% gives 55.6. They're within 3% of each other, so for budgeting, the debate about 50 vs 66 vs 70 barely matters. What matters is this: plan on 80 as the only number in writing, expect around 55 per 5-star and around 83 per featured one, and don't pay anyone for a "secret" soft-pity figure.
Topping up outside the official shop: what Kuro's rules say
You'll find a lot of "it's totally safe" talk, mostly from sellers and affiliates. So here are Kuro's actual words. Its Fair Play Policy lists "Strict Prohibition of Top-up via Third-party Applications and Refund Abuse," with penalties that include removal of illegal gains, account suspension or a permanent ban, "depending on the severity and frequency of the offense." Official The policy doesn't define "third-party applications," so whether it covers every UID-based reseller isn't spelled out.
On who is authorized: Kuro's notice on unauthorized payment platforms (2025) said that, for the SEA server, only Midasbuy was officially authorized. Some secondary sites say Kuro lists regional partners such as Codashop or MyCard as official resellers. I couldn't confirm that on a Kuro page, and I couldn't find a current Kuro list that names BitTopup. So treat official routes as the in-game store (App Store, Google Play, console stores) and Kuro's Top-Up Center, and treat any other seller as your own call and your own risk.
Reported, not verified: some players say they couldn't change their account security details after a third-party top-up. I found that only in forum posts, not in a Kuro statement. I also found no verified Kuro answer on whether third-party top-ups count toward spending events.
If you decide a reseller is worth the saving, here's how to cut the risk. BitTopup's UID top-up for Wuthering Waves page says its flow needs only your UID and server, with no password.
Never share a password, email code or social login. A top-up that needs those is the wrong one.
Match the server exactly. Asia, America, Europe, TW_HK_MO and SEA are separate shards, and currencies don't cross between them. A wrong server means Lunite lands on the wrong account.
Test with the smallest pack first. The 60-Lunite pack was $0.73 at BitTopup checkout on Oct 24. It's cheap insurance before a $100 order.
Check the checkout price, then check your balance in-game before you close the order page. Keep the receipt.
Quick answers
Is one pull really 160 Astrite?
It's the widely cited figure, and every calculation here uses it. I couldn't find a Kuro page that states it, so confirm it in the in-game Shop. A 10-pull is then 1,600 and a hard-pity cycle (80) is 12,800 Astrite.
Is pity shared between Suoming, Lucilla and Lynae?
Yes for the count. Kuro says the guarantee count is shared among all Featured Resonator banners and carried over until a 5-star Resonator drops. Whether a lost 50/50 carries to another banner's character isn't spelled out officially, so check the Convene page.
When does soft pity start?
Kuro hasn't published it. Community estimates run from about 50 to about 70, with about 66 the best data-backed guess from 2024. Plan on the official 80.
Which Phase II banner should I pull first?
The one you need most. The counter is shared, so order doesn't change the average cost (about 83 pulls each, computed). Pull one target, not all three.
Should I skip Phase II and save for Lily?
Only if nothing in Phase II is a need. Lily is confirmed as 3.8's headliner, but Kuro hasn't announced 3.8's date, its stream or her banner phase as of Oct 24, 2026.
When does Phase II end?
Nov 11, 2026 at 11:59 server time, per Kuro's notice. Some fan sites say Nov 12. Check the in-game countdown.
Is the Monthly Card worth it?
On the numbers, yes. $4.99 for 3,000 Astrite-equivalent is about $0.27 per pull at official US prices, far below the $1.98–$2.64 you pay for regular packs. The 90 Astrite arrives daily over 30 days, so you collect it as you play.
Does the first-purchase double apply to me?
Per secondary sources, it applies once per pack tier on your account, giving double the base Lunite. It isn't on the official listings I read, and I couldn't confirm it triggers on reseller top-ups. Check what your account shows in the shop.
What's the difference between Lunite and Astrite?
Lunite is the paid currency, and it converts to Astrite 1:1 in the game. Astrite is what you spend on Tides. According to secondary sources, you can't convert Astrite back to Lunite, so hold Lunite until you're ready to pull.
