In the world of Identity V, each character's skin undergoes numerous design iterations before the final version is released. Many of these unused drafts are breathtaking and deserve recognition. From the Coordinator's elegant "Iris" design to the Professor's alluring "Hot Spring Sake" concept, these unreleased skins showcase the incredible creativity of the design team. Let's take a closer look at some of these captivating designs that, unfortunately, never made it into the game.

Coordinator – Iris

The Coordinator's second limited skin, themed around the iris flower, had an initial draft featuring a deep purple hue, closely aligning with the flower's essence. While the final version incorporated a face-covering hat, fur collar, and trench coat, enhancing its premium feel, the original draft exuded a sleek charm reminiscent of a high-quality A-tier skin.

Professor – Hot Spring Sake

The Professor's "Hot Spring Sake" skin had two drafts. The second was particularly striking, showcasing a semi-transparent white veil and a high-slit skirt, emphasizing elegance and allure. The final version leaned more towards the first draft, with detailed refinements, offering a more generous appearance.

Bloody Queen – Night Tide

Both drafts of the "Night Tide" skin were mesmerizing. The first emphasized oceanic elements, with wave-like effects on the skirt and hair, creating an unimaginable beauty. The second draft leaned towards elegance, closer to the final version, which combined the skirt design of the second with layered elements to depict waves. With such a stunning character, any design is bound to succeed.

Doctor – Recovery

Among the three drafts for the Doctor's "Recovery" skin, the first stands out with its dual-layered, lightweight veil and white gown adorned with red crosses. While the final version opted for a simpler, pure white design, it exudes a sense of sanctity and remains visually appealing.

Noise – Star King

The initial draft of "Star King" embraced an extravagant stage style, with the second version featuring dreamy, colorful effects. The final design made minor adjustments, altering the hairstyle, reducing the hat size, and enhancing the star elements, maintaining the original's grandeur. Truly a debut at its peak!

Hermit – Chief Advisor

The Hermit's design underwent significant changes. The first draft showcased longer hair, glasses, and a single tassel earring, exuding a scholarly and restrained aura. The final version, based on the second draft, removed intricate clothing patterns, enlarged the neckline, and introduced a "big cat with two kittens" theme, achieving perfection.

Entomologist – Mandrake

All three initial drafts of the "Mandrake" skin were of S-tier quality. Each presented a unique style, with the second exuding a gothic lady vibe. The final version embraced a mysterious, folk-inspired theme, but the discarded drafts were equally captivating.

Disciple Ann – Emerald Queen

Both initial drafts portrayed a queenly figure with an updo and crown, radiating elegance and mystery. The final version featured long hair and a minimized neck presence. Elements from the second draft, like the green cloak, were retained, and the black cat transformed into a cow-patterned feline, sparking playful speculations about a potential Spinosaurus form.

These discarded drafts are truly a loss to the game. Thank you for reading! Wishing you golden luck in your draws!
