Identity V | These Three Seasons' Skins Are Seriously Stunning! They Top the Players'

Today, I just want to casually talk about my favorite skins from a few seasons — not saying they're the "best," but purely the ones I think are the most beautiful, the most atmospheric, and the ones worth revisiting.

Honestly, after playing Identity V for so many years, I’ve become really picky about skins. Some seasons’ skins are just something I glance at and move on, but some really stick in my heart. Even after years, when I see their pictures on the market, I can’t help but click to check the prices. Sometimes it’s not because I want to buy them, but more like I just can’t forget.

Season 17: One of the Seasons I’m Most Reluctant to Forget

This season was honestly something special — four legendary skins, all top-notch quality. Not just good-looking, but perfect fits for their characters. Even now, their market prices are quite shocking (just look them up).

Doctor — Twilight Farewell (Path of Reasoning)

This doctor skin, once you see it, you won’t forget.

It’s not flashy, but carries a quiet poetic vibe. When it first came out, I remember asking my friends on social media, “Doesn’t this doctor skin look like a blend of a strong yet gentle heroine from a historical drama?”

Her handheld item was crafted in such fine detail — white hair, simple clothes — it almost feels like “she’s here just for you” (don’t laugh, after playing a while you really get this feeling).

Now, looking at the market price, many regret not grinding the Path of Reasoning to get her... (sigh).

Toymaker — Radiant Feather (Essence One)

Have you ever seen a skin that literally comes with its own halo? Radiant Feather is exactly that!

When she appeared, I felt like “this isn’t just a manor character, this is a deity touring from the heavens.”

Not exaggerating — when she runs, her skirt gently flutters and there’s this glowing aura that makes it impossible to look away. Although I don’t play Toymaker often, once I got this skin, I immediately practiced her for a while just to enjoy seeing her fly in matches. Haha.

Dancer — Clotho (Essence Two)

Every Dancer main will praise this one.

A friend of mine is a Dancer specialist, owning almost all skins, and she told me, “Clotho has the most detailed model, hands down.”

This skin isn’t over the top, but every little detail is handled meticulously, especially the dark purple and metallic decorations. Paired with the Dancer’s movements, it’s just insanely beautiful.

When she stands still, she’s basically a wallpaper.

Rogue — Silent Halberd (Essence Three)

I don’t have to say much about this one — those who know, know.

When you see this skin for the first time, it feels like “wow, this one’s not someone to mess with.”

The entire aura is intense, especially that weapon — a halberd design that looks super cool.

Rogue’s skill is already strong, and this skin adds a sense of impact, making the chase feel like a calm but overwhelming pressure. Seriously addictive. (Fear)

Season 18: Dark Theme Lovers Will Go Crazy

This whole season has a bit of a “dark night” vibe, but it’s not just mindless black — it’s like the designers really tuned the mood carefully.

Each skin feels like it has a story behind it; just looking at the skins makes you imagine a whole short film.

Sculptor — Nightshade

She’s not really a Sculptor anymore — more like the queen of the night.

Her face is really beautiful, her proportions are perfect, and her movements are super clean and crisp.

After playing a few ranked matches with her, I immediately made her my permanent favorite because I just can’t bring myself to switch back to the normal skin.

She has this “noble silence” vibe — no need for flashy stuff, just standing there commands presence.

Psychologist — Azure Heron Wings

Psychologist skins are rare, so I locked this one as soon as it came out.

Many people might think she looks “light” at first glance, but when you look closer, you see the high-fashion quality — it’s really well done. Especially the shawl, the textures, and the little feather on her hat — you can tell the design was careful.

Most importantly, she doesn’t look bulky in this outfit and still feels agile in gameplay. This kind of skin is a huge plus — practical and beautiful.

Mercenary — The Red Cloak

You call him “Red Cloak,” I call him “The Chaser.”

I remember there was a time when many Mercenary mains were begging for this skin to be rerun because it really nails both character design and aesthetics.

The dark red cape, battle damage details, and that face model that isn’t oily at all — he’s really handsome in a lasting way. After a while, you might even feel he’s not a Mercenary but an anti-hero who time-traveled from some RPG. (Not really)

Season 23: A Double Hit of Chinese Style and Dreamy Vibes

This season is brutal — Essence One’s purple skins are ridiculously high quality, and the later legendary skins didn’t disappoint.

Especially if you like “Chinese style + cool tone + purple,” you definitely won’t be able to pick just one from this season.

Forward — Iris (Essence One)

She’s not the kind of skin that makes you say “wow” at first sight, but the more you use it, the more you like it.

The purple tone is soft, not jarring, with a touch of classical flavor — very easy on the eyes. The controls feel smooth in matches too.

When Forward wears this, you get the sense she’s not just an ordinary officer, but a mysterious elite soldier.

Rogue — Rosemary

Another Rogue, but totally different style.

Opposite to the fierce “Silent Halberd,” Rosemary is gentle, like calling you from a deep sea dream. The colors blend so well — purple with gray undertones, no tackiness at all.

The sense of impact is on point too. Making a purple skin this good is really rare — some say “she deserves to be a legendary skin,” and I agree.

Entomologist — Mandala

This skin is seriously “addictive.”

Not bad addictive, but the kind where once you start using it, you don’t want to switch back.

The colors are vivid but not gaudy, kind of like a magical flower blooming in the dark night — very fitting for Entomologist’s mysterious and supportive role.

Her insect skill effect looks fantastic, so it’s a perfect combo of visual and practical.

Antiquarian — Bai Ze

A Chinese mythical beast theme — spot on.

Bai Ze is the kind of skin you don’t want to take off once you have it. Whether it’s the main color of dark greenish-gray or the flowing special effect patterns on her body, it all screams “high-end taste.”

Most importantly, the vibe — Bai Ze’s ancient style and mystique fits Antiquarian perfectly. You look at her and just know she’s not an ordinary person.

Hermit — Warden

No need to say much, the pressure is maxed out here.

Gray-blue tone, dark metallic feeling, like a law enforcer straight out of a sci-fi movie.

Wearing this skin, Hermit’s presence doubles instantly. Especially that cloak and mechanical parts — the details are really impressive.

Which one’s your favorite skin?

Honestly, I can’t delete any from these three seasons. Not just because they look good, but because each one carries “the me from back then.” Maybe when I just started playing, or during the time I grinded the most, or a moment when I hit the leaderboard or peak rank.

So, what’s the skin you love the most? Which season is it from?
