1. Character Overview

  • Element: Cryo

  • Weapon: Polearm

  • Role: Off-field DPS, Hydro/Cryo resistance shredder, and team-wide healer

Eikaphie is a versatile character who excels in off-field damage, elemental resistance reduction, and healing. Her passive talent enhances Hydro and Cryo resistance reduction based on the number of Hydro and Cryo characters in the team, potentially reaching up to 45% resistance reduction. This makes her particularly effective in Freeze team compositions.

Unlike characters like Nilou, Eikaphie isn't strictly locked into specific elemental teams. While her resistance-shredding capabilities are maximized in Hydro/Cryo teams, she still retains her healing and off-field damage abilities when paired with characters of other elements. This flexibility allows for diverse team-building options.

2. Skill Overview

  • Normal Attack: Standard polearm attacks with no unique attributes.

  • Elemental Skill:

    • Tap: Summons a food tray that launches snacks at nearby enemies, dealing AoE Cryo damage approximately once per second. The attack range is relatively small, making it more effective against single targets without crowd control. Cryo application occurs every 2.5 seconds or every three hits, limiting its efficiency for consistent Cryo application.

    • Hold: Deploys a cooking device in the open world that can be charged with elemental attacks. Once fully charged, it produces special food items crafted by Eikaphie, adding a unique utility aspect to her kit.

  • Elemental Burst: Deals AoE Cryo damage in front of Eikaphie and provides immediate healing to all party members, followed by continuous healing over time for the active character. The healing scales with her attack stat, similar to characters like Xianyun.

  • Passive Talent: When Eikaphie's Elemental Skill or Burst hits an enemy, it reduces their Hydro and Cryo resistance based on the number of Hydro and Cryo characters in the team. With a full Hydro/Cryo team, the resistance reduction can exceed 40%, surpassing the debuffing capabilities of characters like Kazuha and Sucrose.

3. Potential Team Compositions

a. Cryo Carry Teams:

  • Composition: Ayaka/Kaya/Wriothesley + Furina + Eikaphie + Shenhe

  • Strategy: This setup replaces traditional resistance-shredding supports like Kazuha or Sucrose with Eikaphie, enhancing single-target damage and maintaining healing capabilities. Eikaphie benefits from Shenhe's Cryo damage buffs, though the lack of crowd control from Kazuha may affect performance against grouped enemies.

b. Hydro Carry Teams:

  • Composition: Yelan/Kamisato Ayato/Xingqiu/Kokomi (choose two) + Furina + Eikaphie

  • Strategy: Eikaphie's resistance reduction and healing support Hydro DPS characters, while Furina's HP manipulation further boosts team damage. This team is viable but may not match the strength of top-tier meta teams.

c. Neuvillette Teams:

  • Composition: Neuvillette + Furina + Sucrose/Kazuha + Eikaphie

  • Strategy: Eikaphie can substitute for Sucrose or Kazuha, providing healing and off-field Cryo damage. While the resistance reduction may be lower, her healing and damage contributions offer a balanced alternative, especially when other supports are allocated to different teams.

4. Pull Recommendation

Eikaphie is a strong support character with unique healing and resistance-shredding abilities, particularly effective in Hydro/Cryo team compositions. However, her full potential is realized in specific team setups, and she may not significantly enhance existing Cryo teams without further investment. Considering the potential release of future Cryo characters like Skirk, it may be prudent to wait for more information before deciding to pull for Eikaphie!
