One of the reports particularly praised "Black Myth: Wukong". "Myth: Wukong", called it a beacon-level work for the rise of China's game industry. VGC stated in the report that China's game industry has risen rapidly in recent years, and a large number of globally famous works have emerged, such as "Genshin Impact", "Honkai Impact" and "Forever", etc. Tencent and NetEase Other major manufacturers have also set up many studios around the world. However, most of the current domestic games are still free to play and include krypton gold elements. But "Black Myth: Wukong" that appeared a few years ago is different. This work is more in line with the value concept of buy-out games in the Western market, and has single-handedly started a trend of buy-out domestic 3A games. The trailer of "Black Myth: Wukong" has tens of millions of views on overseas video platforms. Its dark and profound plot and exciting combat performance have also fascinated many players. At Gamescom, players even had to queue for four hours before they could try it out. And unlike games this year such as "Pinocchio's Lie" and "Lord of the Fallen" that seem to have similar styles, "Black Myth: Wukong" pays more attention to the excavation and expression of traditional Chinese culture and mythological themes, rather than Mere imitation. At present, Game Science has embarked on the final stage of the "Road to the West", and the game will be officially released on August 20, 2024. There is no doubt that "Black Myth: Wukong" will be a very important work for the Chinese game industry.
