"The golden cudgel is not a cotton swab. Do you need to be careful when inserting it into your ears?" IGN France commented on the classic scene of "Black Myth: Wukong" that caused dissatisfaction among players

[“The golden cudgel is not a cotton swab. Do you need to be careful when entering your ears?” IGN France’s critical review of the classic scene of “Black Myth: Wukong” caused dissatisfaction among players] At yesterday’s Summer Game Festival event, Game Science brought “Black Myth: Wukong” ’s latest trailer, which includes a classic scene where Wukong takes out the golden cudgel from his ear. But then IGN France took a screenshot and posted a comment saying: "Isn't it a little dangerous to put your magic telescopic wand in your ear? This is not a cotton swab (original text in French, here is a machine translation)" This quickly aroused the dissatisfaction of many players. , many players questioned that IGN France should at least do their homework before publishing the article. It is really unprofessional to make "arrogant" jokes without knowing the background of the game. This is not the first time IGN France has made a "golden line". In a previous preview of the PS5 game "Sword Star", the media called the characters "dolls created by people who have never seen women." Even though IGN headquarters finally apologized for the incident, the editor-in-chief of IGN France still criticized the game's character design in the community and stated that "this delusion is the reason for the murder of women." "Black Myth: Wukong" will be launched on PS5 and PC on August 20 (the Xbox version is suspended due to optimization issues), and the game is now available for pre-order.
