Ubisoft halts development on The Division

[Ubisoft has terminated the development of "The Division: Heartland"] At the recent Ubisoft quarterly financial report meeting, Chief Financial Officer Frédérick Duguet announced the termination of the development of "The Division: Heartland". Frédérick Duguet said: "As our investment selectivity continues to increase, we have made such a difficult but necessary important decision. We will redeploy resources to larger games such as "Unruly Alliance" and "Rainbow Six: Siege". "The Division: Heartland" is a free multiplayer survival shooting game focusing on PvEvP, developed by Red Storm Entertainment, which has participated in projects such as "The Division" and "The Division 2". According to Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, this game is inconsistent with the company's plan to focus its strategic focus on two vertical areas (open world adventure & native service-based games).
