["Ma Da Fu Be Honest" study found that playing "Mario: Odyssey" can help reduce depressive symptoms] The Department of Psychotherapy at the University of Bonn in Germany recently published an article titled "Console Games Intervene with Depressive Symptoms, Training Motivation and Vision" Research paper on the impact of spatial memory. According to the report, gaming can help reduce the symptoms of depression. The project asked participants to play the 3D game "Super Mario: Odyssey" during the experiment, and ultimately found that compared with patients who used a cognitive training program (CogPack) and received conventional treatment, those who played the game could significantly reduce Depression symptoms! Among them, the symptoms of severe depression patients in the gaming group (playing "Super Mario: Odyssey") were the most obvious, with a range of about 50%, far exceeding the other two groups, and the participants' training motivation was also higher. Although the performance of the visuospatial memory task was not particularly improved compared to the other two groups, more effective combined treatment may be possible through further research in the future.
