First, let’s take a look at the 2D preview (three-view). In the artwork, Cowboy—looking more like “Uncle Cowboy”—is shown brandishing his whip around the manor and carrying teammates on his shoulders. The exaggerated broad shoulders and muscular arms scream security.
But the in-game model has great proportions. The coat isn’t as bulky as the 2D art suggested, and the student uniform gives Cowboy a fresh, youthful, and energetic vibe.
Uncle Cowboy has now been promoted(?) to big brother status!
The face model is handsome and well-designed (though Cowboy, why is your head so pointy?). The folds in the sleeves and gloves are detailed and clean. Instead of checkered pants, he’s wearing ripped jeans, giving off a simple and sleek look—not overdone at all.
The in-game visuals are also impressive: light, clean, and quite different in style from other blue-tier skins. The school uniform looks formal, shedding the laid-back cowboy look. For just six yuan, this skin really feels worth it!
However, after the major nerf to the Giant Claw trait, Cowboy’s kite support ability (OB value) took a big hit. Even if he successfully saves a teammate from a balloon, they’re still in a downed state—often requiring two or even three attempts to secure a successful save. This can trigger a 20–30 second slowdown in decoding for the whole team.
Because of this, the skin has been nicknamed “Headless Meal” by players, in honor of Cowboy—legendary victim of the Giant Claw nerf. Our poor Cowboy, who spent his life lowering his head, has finally lost it for good.
