As most players know, equipping accessories can change a character’s skill effects. But did you know some skins come with unique skill effects by default, without needing any high-grade accessories? Let’s take a look at some of these special skins—you might be surprised by how many there are!
Both of Magician’s Aladdin-themed purple skins change his skill effect. Normally, when his illusion is hit, there’s no unique animation. But with these two skins, the illusion dissolves like a ghost when struck by a hunter—very immersive!
Most of Mercenary’s skins share the same default red bracer animation when vaulting. But with Springhand, the wall vault effect turns golden, making it visually distinct!
The Gold Tranquil Pike, her matching accessory, has a special dash effect—a few small jellyfish appear around her while dashing. In fact, most of her high-tier skins have custom floating effects tied to her skills, making them extra dynamic.
When using Gale Surge with the Solar Eclipse skin, a glowing red sun appears behind him, and it’s not just a static image—it spins and animates, adding dramatic flair to his abilities.
