The 7.3 Special Program is expected on Friday, December 4, 2026 at around 20:00 UTC+8 (07:00 EST). HoYoverse runs the livestream 12 days before each update: the 7.2 program aired on October 23 at 20:00 UTC+8, and 7.2 launched on November 4.

That's where the 7.3 banners get officially confirmed, along with the featured 4-stars, events and story teasers. Official confirmation of the stream itself usually lands on @GenshinImpact two days before.

7.3 livestream codes

Expect three codes worth 100 Primogems each (300 total), plus small material bundles. They stay live for only a short window, so redeem them the same evening; the 7.2 codes expired on October 26.

Genshin 7.3 Banners: Phase 1 and Phase 2 (Leaks)

Phase 1: Anastasya (the Tsaritsa) and Danica Leaked

This is the part every leak agrees on. Anastasya Feodorovna, the Tsaritsa and Cryo Archon, and Danica are both in the 7.3 beta, and every lineup since early October puts them on Phase 1.

Both characters are already official as story characters. HoYoverse's "Sudden Snow" trailer and introductions from June 26, 2026 named Anastasya and Danica. That confirms they exist, not which banner they get.

Phase 2: the leak sources disagree Disputed

Phase 2 is where things get messy. Leakflow's October 10 list said Sandrone + Lohen, and most banner sites still repeat it. Then on November 4, a Nanoka leak shared by GenshinUniverse swapped them for Varka + Nicole.

My read as a long-time player: the Nanoka list is newer and lines up with the usual rule that units who have waited longest rerun first. Leakflow has the bigger following. Plan for both until the livestream settles it.

Genshin 7.3 Rerun Banners

Reruns are the most likely thing to change before December. Here's what each scenario means for you:

Community sentiment leans toward Varka + Nicole. Many players on Reddit and YouTube point out that Lohen rerunning before longer-waiting units would break HoYoverse's usual pattern.

A popular counter-theory: if Varka and Nicole take 7.3, Lohen and Sandrone slide to 7.4 or 7.5. Either way, nobody in the rerun pool is gone for long.

Genshin 7.3 New Content: Boss, Artifacts, Events

Beyond the banners, the 7.3 beta is packed. Here's the leaked content so far:

The Empress set's Cryo CRIT Rate bonus reads like it was made for Anastasya, so it's a likely farm target for her team. The Liyue set's ER and Skill/Burst bonus fits a wide range of supports.

A free 4-star claymore with high ER is always welcome. If the stats hold, Blazing Lionfang is a solid pick for claymore supports and sub-DPS units.

Should You Skip 7.2 for 7.3?

If Anastasya is your goal, the community answer is a clear yes, mostly. Archons tend to stay at the top of team plans for years, and a guaranteed 5-star needs up to 180 pulls if you lose the 50/50.

Exceptions worth pulling for in 7.2:

• Mitya: pull only if you love him or need his Stellar-Conduct role now. Many players are waiting on more Tsaritsa beta info before calling him essential.
• Furina: still one of the strongest supports. If you don't own her, she's the one 7.2 banner that's easy to justify.
• Zibai, Linnea, Natlan Chronicled: great if they fill a gap, but these are the banners that usually drain a savings plan.

How many Primogems can you save before 7.3?

Here's a careful estimate from November 5. It leaves out exploration, quests and 7.3 events, so your real total should come out a bit higher.

Free 300 now: the 7.2 issue compensation (300 Primogems) must be claimed from your in-game mail by Nov 7, 2026, 06:00 UTC+8. If you haven't opened it, add another 300 to the totals above.

Roughly 51 F2P pulls by launch won't guarantee Anastasya on its own. Bring saved pulls and pity from earlier patches, or plan to finish the job during Phase 1, which should run about three weeks.

Genshin 7.3 vs 7.4 Banners

Version 7.4 is expected around January 27, 2027, right in Lantern Rite season. Players assume it brings a Lantern Rite event and a new Liyue 5-star, with rumours of Liyue buffs and a Zhongli rerun. None of that is official, and leaks for 7.4 are thinner than for 7.3.

• Go all in on 7.3 if: Anastasya or Danica are must-haves. Lantern Rite usually adds extra free pulls, so 7.4 makes a good recovery patch.
• Split your bank if: you only want Anastasya C0. Secure her, then hold the rest for 7.4's Liyue lineup.
• Watch Phase 2: whichever rerun pair misses 7.3 is widely expected to land in 7.4 or 7.5.
