Nov 3 broadcast and the Hutuo 1st-anniversary update
The broadcast: Tue Nov 3, 06:00 UTC+8
The 1st Anniversary Special Broadcast streams on the official YouTube channel on Nov 2 at 14:00 PT, which is Nov 3 at 06:00 UTC+8. This is where NetEase reveals the full Global anniversary reward list, so it's the single most important hour of the month for your spending plan.
What we already know from the PlayStation Blog post of Oct 27: NetEase calls this the "most generous" reward package since launch. It also marks a big year: the game passed 100 million players worldwide in August 2026.
For context, here's what the Chinese version handed out for its own anniversary in December 2025, per Modezone's write-up: a free pick of 1 of 12 outfits worth 2,580 beads, 42 bound Lingering Melodies plus 27 Resonant Echo, and 90+ free cosmetics. A Reddit summary at the time counted it as "69 free pulls". Global runs its own schedule and reward design, so treat CN as a reference point and let the broadcast fill in the Global numbers.

Nov 13 or Nov 14? Both, depending on where you live. The English PlayStation Blog and the official trailer say Nov 13 (the PlayStation upload says "November 13 (UTC)"). The Japanese PlayStation Blog says Nov 14 JST. Same moment, different calendars: late Nov 13 UTC is already Nov 14 in Asia. Recent version updates (Oct 15 and Oct 29) went live with maintenance starting at 05:00 UTC+8, and NetEase posts the exact Hutuo maintenance window in its pre-update notice.

- Write down the Global reward list: free outfit picks, Lingering Melody counts and any login calendar.
- Compare it with your wishlist. If a free outfit pick covers something you planned to buy, cross it off.
- Check the Hutuo maintenance window NetEase announces for Nov 13/14.
- Look for anniversary shop items and their bead prices, then size your top-up to the exact pack.

Harmonic Core comes from the Celestial Echo pool, which per NetEase's official probability notice guarantees a Legendary within 150 draws, and 90% of those guaranteed Legendaries are Harmonic Core.
Three months is a long window. There is zero reason to rush it before you've seen the anniversary rewards.

Lucky Lantern (ends Nov 9, 04:59)
This one rewards a clean plan. Lucky Lantern is a random umbrella chest at 60 Echo Beads per open. There are 5 designs and no duplicates, and collecting all five unlocks the set-completion umbrella "The Waddling Way". So 5 opens = 300 beads = the whole set, guaranteed. Each one is giftable, up to 5 per character.

Lotus Crane (300 beads from Nov 8)
From Nov 8 at 00:00 UTC+8, the Lotus Crane set costs 300 Echo Beads instead of 680. That's 380 beads off, the biggest bead discount on this month's shop list. The same day, the Mindful Joy Golden Body VFX arrives at 60 beads (300 after Dec 8, 04:59).

Fading Glory: use your eyes before Nov 9
Fading Glory, home of the Global-exclusive Aureate Dominion set, closes Nov 9 at 04:59. The first draw is free, Echo Jade can buy a limited number of Sun-Raven Eyes, and any eyes you still hold are reclaimed at the close. Spend them, don't hoard them.
Scarlet Whispers and Season 5: the two finish lines
Scarlet Whispers Battle Pass: Fri Nov 13, 17:59 UTC+8
This is the change most players missed. The Oct 29 patch notes moved the Scarlet Whispers end from Nov 14, 04:59:59 to Nov 13, 17:59:59 UTC+8. That's 11 hours earlier, and it lands the same day as Hutuo. The same notes made the weekly BP EXP cap reset every Monday at 05:00 UTC+8, with EXP granted retroactively.
What the Premium Battle Pass gives you (official contents):
- Everything in the base paid track: the Scarlet Whispers appearance set, Cedar Breeze decoration, Maple's Solitude idle pose, Crimson Reflections inscription, Lingering Melody and Echo Jade
- 10 levels instantly
- Clear Chime decoration and Maple Afterglow namecard
- Extra Lingering Melody
Those 10 instant levels are worth more the later you buy, because they close the gap you can't grind back in the last week. Spending priority: the November ladders
Here's the rule I follow every month: buy by deadline first, and match the pack to the bead cost so nothing is left over. November makes that easy, because the two best deals (Lucky Lantern ×5 and Lotus Crane) cost exactly 300 beads each.

Light spender: about $13 for the month
- Monthly Pass ($4.40). The lowest-priced pass in the store, and it pays out every day you log in. It's called the Monthly Fund in-game. Community guides list 300 Echo Beads plus 90,000 Coins up front and 100 Echo Jade a day for 30 days.
- 300 Echo Beads → Lucky Lantern ×5 ($4.40). All five umbrellas plus The Waddling Way. Done before Nov 9, 04:59.
- 300 Echo Beads → Lotus Crane ($4.40). From Nov 8, at 300 instead of 680.
Total: $13.20, and you walk away with two full cosmetic sets and a month of daily rewards.
Mid spender: about $57 for the month

When are the Global 1st-anniversary rewards revealed?
At the 1st Anniversary Special Broadcast: Nov 2, 14:00 PT = Nov 2, 22:00 UTC = Nov 3, 06:00 UTC+8, live on the official YouTube channel. NetEase reveals the full Global reward list there, and has already promised the "most generous" package since launch.
Will Global get the same anniversary rewards as CN?
Global sets its own package. CN's December 2025 anniversary (free 1-of-12 outfit pick, 42 bound Lingering Melodies, 90+ cosmetics) is useful context, and the Nov 3 broadcast gives you the Global version.
What time does Hutuo go live in my region?
Hutuo launches Nov 13 (UTC), which is Nov 14 on Asian calendars, so you'll see both dates online. Recent updates started maintenance at 05:00 UTC+8, and NetEase publishes the exact Hutuo window in its maintenance notice.

Does spending make you stronger?
