[The new "The Witcher" will enter full development next year, and the sequel to "Cyberpunk 2077" is preparing a team] CDPR CEO Adam Kiciński recently revealed some information about the company's new project development progress in an interview with the media. The first is the new "Witcher" game, with the development codename "Polaris". Currently, 330 people are involved in the development. In 2024, efforts will be increased in the mid-term to increase the number of team members to about 400 people. In addition to this work, the company also has two related works, both of which were jointly created with North American studio The Molasses Flood (previously acquired by it). One is a project based on the world view of "The Witcher", codenamed "Sirius"; the other is the remake of "The Witcher 1" announced last year. Currently, neither game has announced a specific release date.
Followed by the sequel to "Cyberpunk 2077" (codenamed "Orion"), this project is now in the concept stage. Adam Kiciński said that he would learn from the lessons of the previous game and not announce it prematurely, but he also hinted that he would reveal some details later to attract everyone's interest. It is reported that the team for this game is still being formed, with the core being the Boston North American Studio. Developers from Vancouver and Poland will be added next year to further expand it. Finally, regarding the new IP "Hadar", it is reported that the project has not yet been implemented in detail. This game may also be an open world RPG work.
