Genshin Impact Major Events in July: Pyro Archon R

July is just around the corner, and here are the major events in Genshin Impact worth looking forward to this month.

1. July 1st
① Starglitter Exchange Shop Update
On the first day of every month, players can exchange 750 Stardust for 5 Acquaint Fates and 5 Intertwined Fates. You can also use 34 Masterless Starglitter to get a rotating 4-star character. This month’s featured characters are Fischl and Xiangling.

② Imaginarium Theater Update
Also on July 1st, the Imaginarium Theater will be refreshed. Clearing the content can earn you 800 Primogems. This cycle’s featured elements are Pyro, Hydro, and Cryo. If you don’t have enough characters to qualify for the “Brilliant” mode, consider leveling up characters of these elements in the next few days.

2. July 7th
Overflowing Mastery Event Starts
For one week, Talent and Weapon domain drops will be doubled. This is a great time to farm materials for character development.

3. July 8th
5.7 Second Phase Banners: Pyro Archon & Emilie Begin
The second phase of version 5.7 will feature banners for Emilie and Marfika. Marfika is currently one of the strongest damage dealers and also a top-tier character for the overworld. It’s recommended to pull at least one copy. Her C1 and C2 also have good value, so if you have enough Primogems, consider going further.

4. July 14th
“Remembrance Training” Mini-Event Starts
Completing it will earn you 420 Primogems.

5. July 16th
Spiral Abyss Reset
You can earn up to 800 Primogems for full stars. Since this Spiral Abyss falls between the banners for Skirk and the Pyro Archon, its buffs are expected to favor Cryo and Pyro elements. Players with teams built around these two characters will enjoy a smooth run.

6. July 18th
Version 5.8 Preview Livestream
The Version 5.8 preview livestream will reveal upcoming banner details and new content. It has been confirmed that a new 5-star character, Innefe, will debut in 5.8. The other three slots are expected to be reruns of older 5-star characters.

There is a high probability that Natlan characters will be rerun: Caterli, Chaska, and Maranie. Caterli, in particular, has a strong chance of being featured, as all the other Natlan battleship characters have already had reruns. With the current Cryo meta being strong, now is a perfect time for her rerun.

7. July 21st
“Colorful Firepower” Mini-Event Starts
Completing it will grant you 420 Primogems.

8. July 30th
Version 5.8 Launches, First Phase Banner Begins
Upon update, players will receive 600 Primogems. The new 5-star Innefe, an Electro-related support or sub-DPS character, will be the featured character. The rerun candidates likely include Caterli, Chaska, and Maranie. If you’re aiming for any of them, start saving your Primogems now.
