The answer is: no!
It’s clear that the developers plan to show the new characters in action during the livestream preview first, and only then release the official splash arts. In other words, we’ll be able to see the two new characters’ in-game models early! Aki is already hyped!
In addition, new details about the Fourth Abyss have been released. Let's go over what's been revealed:
About the Fourth Abyss
There are some extra clarifications needed here.
Nicole has confirmed that there will be a fourth Abyss, but details on its mechanics have come from other leakers.
One key point is: Although the new Abyss requires three teams, it doesn’t have strict requirements. In other words, as long as players have been keeping up with current content, it shouldn’t be too difficult.
The final stage of the Abyss will only require one team, but the difficulty will be higher. In version 3.6, the final boss will reportedly be a special version of the Aeon “Lacuz”.
Another important note:
According to current information, the new Abyss will not offer Stellar Jade as a reward. Instead, players may receive avatars or other in-game items, similar to how Genshin Impact handles Spiral Abyss rewards.
If that turns out to be true, many Trailblazers might choose to skip this content entirely.
Speculation on Rewards
So, even though Stellar Jade won’t be part of the reward pool, it’s highly likely that the devs will make up for it in other ways—possibly with rewards like Random Dice, Wish Particles, or other valuable resources (this is speculation).
Otherwise, adding a new Abyss would seem meaningless without attractive incentives, so they’ll probably put some real effort into the rewards.
Reminder on the Third Abyss
It’s also important to remember: News about the Third Abyss is not officially confirmed yet. All current details are still unverified leaks or speculation.
So Trailblazers, don’t jump to conclusions or judgments too quickly. It’s fine to stay informed, but let’s wait for the official preview before getting our hopes up.
Bonus: Dan Heng’s New Look
Also, Dan Heng’s new 3.5 appearance has already been revealed! We won’t post it here, but let’s just say:
His outfit fits the Onpharos theme perfectly, and he absolutely looks the part of a Preservation character. If nothing changes, he’ll likely be available as a free reward!
For Trailblazers who already pulled for White Erudition, you can rest easy.
Let’s wait for the livestream preview for more details—Dan Heng’s new look is definitely something to look forward to!
