If you don’t have Ju FuFu or don’t want to raise Pan Yinhu, Yao Jiayin or Ben Bigger are both reliable replacements.
Notably, Yin Xuan excels against Priest-type enemies due to her yellow light parries triggering frequent Resonance Rebounds. Qingyi has top-tier performance in the current buffed meta. If you don’t have Lycaon, Ben Bigger or the permanent S-rank Lycaon also performs well. The reworked Ellen no longer relies on a double-Ice setup, so you have more freedom in your support choices—Yao Jiayin and Koleda both offer solid synergy.
Hugh – Double Break Nuke Team
Team Comp: Hugh + Lycaon / Nicole / Qingyi + Ju FuFu / Ben Bigger
As a nuclear-style main carry that relies on double-break mechanics, Hugh works best with any two of the listed breakers. The optimal comp at present is Lycaon + Ju FuFu, though others shine in different situations.
Nicole (Zero) – Pursuit Team

Pursuit teams are struggling in version 2.0—largely invisible in both Hollow Zero and Shiyu Crisis modes. Even Ben Bigger, who’s considered Nicole’s dedicated breaker, is being claimed by Yin Xuan and Ellen comps, making her niche even smaller.
This archetype remains a high-investment “transport team” that only shines with maxed-out units. Low-investment performance is mediocre, and Nicole’s real comeback likely depends on future breaker reworks.
Evelyn – Flexible Break Team
Team Comp: Evelyn + Lycaon / Nicole / Ben Bigger + Yao Jiayin / Koleda / Lucy
Thanks to her on-field presence and burst flexibility, Evelyn fits both Lycaon’s semi-on-field breaking and Ju FuFu/Ben Bigger’s off-field styles. She can even run Nicole as a fallback breaker while using a dual support setup like Yao Jiayin + Nicole for sustained uptime. Adjust based on matchup and your roster’s development.
Soukaku & Zhu Yuan – Burst Team
Team Comp: Zhu Yuan / Soukaku + Qingyi + Yao Jiayin / Nicole / Ben Bigger
This burst-focused playstyle remains unchanged. Pair them with Qingyi on-field and another non-field-hogging support. Yao Jiayin is the top-tier pick here, though Nicole offers better cost-efficiency. Add Ben Bigger if you want more breaking power.
Grace – Chaos & Solo-Core Builds
Chaos Comp: Grace + Lucy / Vivian / Bernice + Yao Jiayin / Koleda / Lucy
Grace is currently the most flexible DPS in the game. For standard chaos teams, run Lucy as an energy battery or go with Vivian/Bernice as traditional off-DPS based on the encounter.
Solo-Core Comp: Grace + Nicole / Lycaon / Lyka + Yao Jiayin / Soldier 11 / Lucy
Grace also supports cost-effective solo-core playstyles. The Yao + Nicole dual support route is strong and cheap. Alternatively, try the “Wolf-Grace-S11” comp for destabilization burst. Slightly more execution-heavy than chaos builds, but no less effective.
Jane & Lucy – Double Chaos Core
Team Comp: Jane / Lucy + Vivian / Bernice + Yao Jiayin / Koleda / Lucy
Vivian, introduced in version 1.7, greatly improves chaos-based lineups—not just in raw damage, but by expanding their type advantage scenarios with Weak Ether. Her mechanics synergize well with Jane’s crit burst and Lucy’s polarity chaos setups, allowing both main DPS to fully commit to dual-core builds rather than requiring high-investment solo play.
With Vivian and Bernice enabling two distinct attribute cores, both Jane-Vivian and Lucy-Vivian compositions are in a great spot—and they’ll likely improve further once Fubuki Youha joins in 2.1.
