Poppo Live Coins in October 2026: Real Prices per Channel, Where Your Dollar Goes, and How to Recharge Safely
Poppo Live coins compared on 22 Oct 2026: coins per dollar on the App Store, poppolive.com, Codashop, SEAGM and BitTopup, where your dollar goes, iOS 3.2.3, Halloween events and refund clawback fixes.

Poppo Live coins cost very different amounts depending on where you buy. On October 22, 2026, the App Store gave about 7,000 coins per dollar, the official poppolive.com web page 8,300–9,100, and BitTopup about 10,700–10,800. Recharge only to your own User ID through a channel that leaves a receipt.
I've spent coins on Poppo across more than one channel, and the price gap still surprises people. So this guide does three things the other pages don't:
Puts every channel on the same yardstick: coins per $1, checked on one date.
Follows one dollar from your wallet, into coins, into a host's points, and out as cash.
Answers the questions players keep asking in reviews that nobody answers properly: coins taken back as a "user refund", wrong User IDs, payment methods vanishing in some countries, and leaving an agency.
Poppo Live coin prices by channel (checked 22 Oct 2026)
First, the official numbers. Poppo's own web recharge (poppolive.com → Get Coins) uses a base of 7,000 coins per $1 and adds bonus coins on top. In the app, Apple charges the plain 7,000-per-dollar rate.
The web page takes USDT (TRC20), USDC (ERC20), PayPal, Epay and Visa/Mastercard, and lists 190 countries. The $500 and $1,000 tiers are card-only. Google Play doesn't publish its pack list publicly; the store only shows an in-app range of $0.09–$204.99 per item, so I can't give you a fair Play number.

Here's the table I wish existed when I started. Same spend levels, closest pack at each store, all checked the same day. Every coins-per-dollar figure is my own calculation from the listed pack price.

Cost of 1,000 coins at the ~$10 tier, lower is cheaper. Prices accessed 22 Oct 2026, fees and taxes excluded.
What jumps out:
At the ~$10 tier, BitTopup gives about 29% more coins per dollar than the official web page (10,707 vs 8,300) and about 53% more than the App Store (vs 7,007). (calc)
Even at the official site's best tier ($1,000 → 9,100/$), BitTopup still delivers about 19% more per dollar. (calc)
Concrete example: 252,000 coins cost $23.30 on BitTopup and $27.48 on SEAGM. At the App Store rate (210,000 for $29.99), the same 252,000 coins would cost about $35.99. (calc)
Does buying a bigger pack save money?
Short answer: barely, except on the official web page. Look at the curve below. Inside each store the line is almost flat. The official web line slopes down because the bonus climbs from +18% to +30%. Everywhere else, the channel you pick matters far more than the pack size.
Price per 1,000 coins by pack size (log scale). App Store line uses the main 7,000-coin-ratio packs plus the 2,100 pack. Accessed 22 Oct 2026.
Heads-up on old numbers: some older articles quote "in-app 1,000 coins = $0.19" or "10,000 = $1.87". Those are strike-through list prices on a seller page, not App Store prices. The live App Store price is 7,000 coins for $0.99. The App Store also lists odd SKUs (6,500, 19,500, 65,000, 195,000 and 165,000 coins) that work out to $0.152–$0.182 per 1,000; Apple doesn't say what they're for, so skip them if you see them.
Where your dollar actually goes: viewer → coins → host points → cash
Reviews are full of hosts asking why 100k points "turns into 70k". Here's the chain, one step at a time.
You buy coins. The rate depends on the channel (table above).
You send a gift. Coins leave your balance. Poppo's withdraw page is blunt: "Coins cannot be withdrawn", and the January 2026 Recharge Protocol says coins "cannot be exchanged for real currency".
The host gets points. According to Poppo agency and recruitment sites (not the operator), hosts keep 70% of the gift value. That 30% gap is exactly what so many reviewers complain about.
Points become cash. Agency sites say 10,000 points = $1, with a minimum withdrawal of 100,000 points ($10). Poppo's official pay API lists the values 10000 and 100000 for every one of 190 countries, which lines up with this, but the fields aren't labelled, so treat it as indirect confirmation.
The payout lands. One agency site says up to 7 business days via Epay, USDT, e-wallet, PayPal or bank; another says "within 24 hours". They disagree, so plan for the slower one.
Worked example (calc, based on the agency-site 70% / 10,000-points-per-$1 claims; withdrawal fees not included):
A viewer buys 100,000 coins for $9.34 on BitTopup and gifts all of them. The host receives 70,000 points = $7.00. That's 74.9% of what the viewer paid.
Same $7.00 for the host if the coins came from the App Store? The viewer would have needed 100,000 coins at 7,007/$ ≈ $14.27. Buy through the App Store and only about 49 cents of each dollar reaches the host.
The catch: 70,000 points is below the 100,000-point minimum. To get a host from zero to a first $10 withdrawal, viewers must gift about 142,857 coins.

One official number you can rely on: Poppo's fan-club rules say the host receives 50% of the revenue from fan-club join and relight fees (100 coins each). If you're a host, that's a separate stream from regular gifts.

How to recharge in the app (and where it goes wrong)
In-app is the simplest path, just the priciest. It's three taps.
Open Poppo Live and tap your profile icon (bottom right).
Tap Coins on the profile page. The "Top-up coins" screen opens.
Pick a pack, tick the User Recharge Agreement, and confirm with Apple or Google.

Want the full walkthrough? This short tutorial is still the clearest English one I've found. Just ignore the 2024 prices on screen.
Topping up outside the app: the User ID routine
Web top-up sites only need your Poppo User ID. Here's the routine I follow every time:
Open the profile ("Me") page and copy the ID shown under your name. Don't type it from memory.
Paste it into the top-up form, then check the nickname or avatar the site shows (if it shows one) matches your account.
Screenshot the order page and keep the payment receipt.
Restart the app and check your coin balance before buying again.
Why so careful? Poppo's own rules say there's no refund after purchase and gift trading between users isn't allowed. So coins sent to the wrong ID are very hard to get back. Contact the seller straight away with your order number if it happens.
Which recharge channels are safe in 2026?
Poppo's withdraw page states: "Only authorized Coinsellers can recharge coin." No public list of authorized sellers was found, so here's how I rank the options by risk:
Channel
What you get
Risk notes
App Store / Google Play (in-app)
~7,000 coins/$ on iOS
Run by the operator. Lowest risk, highest price.
Official web (poppolive.com → Get Coins)
8,300–9,100 coins/$
Operator's own page. Crypto, PayPal, Epay and cards.
Established top-up sites (BitTopup, Codashop, SEAGM)
9,159–10,818 coins/$
User-ID-only, receipts, support. Codashop calls itself an "Official Distributor" on its PH page.
Individual "coin sellers" on WhatsApp, Telegram or X
Claims vary (agency sites quote "up to 9,500/$")
X is flooded with "official reseller" ads. No receipts, no recourse. This is where most clawback stories start.
Trading coins for points with other users

Not allowed by Poppo, and a common scam in reviews.
Coins taken back as a "user refund": why it happens and how to avoid it
This is the scariest complaint in the reviews, and the existing guides just say "coins are non-refundable". A few real cases:
Google Play, 6 Sep 2026: a user in Ethiopia lost over 300k points "under false refund excuses" after buying coins "from local coin sellers".
App Store (UAE), 17 Jan 2026: coins deducted as a "User Refund" even though the account only recharged via Apple Pay. Support asked for a 182k-coin recharge to lift the ban.
Google Play, 9 Oct 2026: a user reported unauthorized payments and a loss of about 40.7 million coins in September 2026.
Why it happens. Poppo hasn't published its clawback logic. But in any in-app economy, a deduction labelled "refund" normally means the payment that originally bought those coins was reversed, for example a chargeback by the real card owner. If a street seller funded their coin stock with a payment that later gets reversed, the coins can be pulled back from whoever ended up holding them. Poppo's recharge agreement also reserves the right to terminate accounts that recharge "in any unauthorised manner".
How to avoid it:
Pay only through a channel that gives you a receipt tied to your User ID: in-app, the official web page, or an established top-up site.
Never buy from someone who asks you to send money to a personal wallet first.
Never trade coins for points with other users.
Keep receipts and order screenshots for at least a few months.
If coins vanish anyway, email support with your User ID, date, amount and receipt. The addresses quoted in Poppo's store replies are android.official@poppolive.com and ios.official@poppolive.com; the website lists contact@poppolive.com.
What's the "DLO POPPO Live" charge on my bank statement?
A Nigerian user posted on X in December 2025 that "DLO POPPO Live" took 1,550 naira 20 times in under an hour. "DLO" matches dLocal, a payment processor that appears on statements for other apps too. Check your in-app purchase history first. If you don't recognize the charges, call your bank and secure the account that holds the card.
Payment methods disappearing or your country flag changing
This is a 2026 trend in reviews:
Pakistan (12 Oct 2026): a user says direct Easypaisa and JazzCash purchases were removed.
May 2026 (Google Play): only Google Pay showing as a recharge option.
Nigeria (26 Sep 2026, 838 helpful votes): the country flag keeps switching back to Nigeria.
No official country-by-country list exists. What I'd do:
Update the app first (Play was updated 15 Oct 2026, iOS on 19 Oct 2026).
Try the official web page, which lists 190 countries and accepts USDT, USDC, PayPal, Epay and cards.
Or use a User-ID top-up site that takes your local method. Top-up via User ID doesn't depend on which in-app wallets your region shows.
For a wrong country flag, report it to support with screenshots. Region decides which tasks and events you see.

Poppo's official notice: the OBS-POPPO-LIVE plugin was discontinued on 21 September 2026 at 11:00 (UTC+8). PC streamers should switch to Poppo's own desktop app, which promotes a "Gaming Mode" with low-latency full-screen capture. If you followed the official OBS setup video from April 2026, the plugin part no longer applies.
New to hosting? Start with the basics in how to start streaming on Poppo Live. On mobile, going live means face authentication, a cover photo, then the camera and mic permissions:
This is the most common host complaint: 37 of 1,765 App Store and Google Play reviews I sampled, from 2022 to October 2026. Agents reject requests, hold hosts for a month, or ask for points to "settle".
What's known:
poppolive.net (an agency/fan site, not confirmed official) says that if the agent doesn't answer within 7 days, the host leaves automatically, and you can file one request every 30 days.
Poppo's Host Protocol (Jan 2026) says hosts are independent service providers, agency hosts are paid through the agency, and cash rebates are banned.
Nothing official covers an agent who actively rejects your request.
File the leave request in the app and screenshot it with the date.
Withdraw what you can first, if you're above the 100,000-point minimum.
Don't pay an agent off-platform to "release" you. Screenshot any demand.
Email Poppo support with your User ID, the request date and the screenshots.
On 22 Oct 2026: about 7,000 on the App Store, 8,300–9,100 on poppolive.com (depending on tier), about 9,160–9,210 on SEAGM and Codashop, and about 10,700–10,800 on BitTopup.
Can I turn coins back into cash?
No. Poppo says coins can't be withdrawn or exchanged for real currency. Only hosts withdraw, and they withdraw points earned from gifts, tips or platform activities.
How old do I need to be?
Poppo's Terms of Service say 18+ (or 16+ if you mainly live on your own labor income). The App Store page shows 16+ and Google Play shows Mature 17+, but the Terms are the rule that counts.
My coins didn't arrive. What should I do?
Restart the app and check your balance. Confirm the User ID on your order matches your profile. Then contact the seller with the order number and receipt. For in-app purchases, contact Poppo support with your store receipt.
Who makes Poppo Live?
Vshow PTE. LTD., based in Singapore. The iOS app first launched on 4 January 2021, and the Google Play listing went live on 6 May 2022.
