Quick answer: Phoenix and the Velina rerun stay up until Nov 11, 11:59 server time, then Severian and the Norma rerun run until Dec 1, 14:59. Every pull costs 160 Polychrome, and a guaranteed limited Agent from zero pity takes up to 28,800. Time your Zenless Zone Zero top up to the banner you actually want.

I've planned pulls in every ZZZ patch since launch, and 3.3 "Journey to the Sky" is a tricky one: two new S-Ranks, two reruns, and Sunbringer plus the Honkai: Star Rail collab already teased for what comes next. Below is the dated plan I'm using myself, with every deadline, free Polychrome source and pity budget in one place.

Key dates at a glance (checked Nov 1, 2026)

  • Now – Nov 11, 11:59 (server time): Phase I, Phoenix (new) + Velina (rerun)
  • Nov 11, 12:00 – Dec 1, 14:59 (server time): Phase II, Severian (new) + Norma (rerun)
  • Nov 16, 03:59 (server time): Cyber Miracle Healer ends (300 Polychrome)
  • Nov 20, 23:59 (UTC+8): last call for the 300-Polychrome issue-fix compensation
  • Nov 30, 03:59 (server time): Spooky Funhouse Tales ends (900 Polychrome)
  • Dec 2, 06:00 (UTC+8): Version 3.3 ends

1. ZZZ 3.3 banner timeline: who's on which channel, and when

Version 3.3 went live on Oct 21, 2026 and runs for 42 days. It's split into two Exclusive Channel phases. Here's the full lineup from the official notices.

PhaseLimited S-Rank AgentRerun S-Rank AgentSignature W-EnginesWindow (server time)
Phase IPhoenix (Fire, Anomaly), "Into the Flames of Life"Velina (Wind, Anomaly), "Graceful Gale"Plume of Rebirth (Phoenix), Joyau Dore (Velina)Oct 21 update → Nov 11, 11:59
Phase IISeverian (Wind, Attack), "Answers in the Wind"Norma (Fire, Stun), "Outlier of Prodigies"Incarcerating Grip (Severian), Chief Sidekick (Norma)Nov 11, 12:00 → Dec 1, 14:59

Good news for savers: your pity count on Exclusive Channels carries over between banners. The official notice says the search count for guaranteed Signals is cumulative across all Exclusive Channels, while W-Engine Channels keep their own separate count.

5. How much free Polychrome does 3.3 give?

6. Pull now or save for 3.4 (Sunbringer, Kafka and Robin)?

This is the big question on X right now. @Ringuu_'s "How many pulls do you have for Phoenix/Severian? Or just skip?" (Oct 6) drew 753 likes and 49 replies, and plenty of players say they're skipping 3.3 for Sunbringer. Here's what's confirmed and what isn't.

3.4: known vs rumor (as of Nov 1, 2026)

TopicStatusDetails

My decision table

Your situationWhat I'd do
You run Anomaly teams and don't have VelinaUse Phase I. Velina's rerun is the banner many players are making an exception for this patch.
You want a new main DPSHold until Nov 11 and look at Severian (Wind Attack); your pity carries over from Phase I.
You mainly want SunbringerSkip 3.3, bank the ~103 free pulls and keep your pity. It carries into the next Exclusive Channel.
You want Kafka (and Robin if she's not free)Plan for two separate 180-pull worst cases until HoYoverse confirms the banner format.
You're at 70+ pity and already guaranteedFinish on whichever 3.3 banner you like. You only need 20 pulls or fewer (3,200 Polychrome).
You want everythingBudget per banner with the pity table below and top up just before each phase you commit to.

One more community consensus I agree with: Agent first, signature W-Engine later. The W-Engine Channel has its own pity (80 pulls hard pity, 75% featured rate per community guides), so skip it if you're saving.

7. How much Monochrome do I need at pity X?

The rules: 1 pull = 160 Polychrome (or 1 Encrypted Master Tape), an S-Rank is guaranteed by pull 90, and losing the 50/50 makes the next S-Rank the featured one. So the worst case for a specific limited Agent is 180 pulls. Monochrome converts 1:1 into Polychrome.

The table shows the worst-case gap from your current pity, plus the BitTopup pack combo that covers it with the least spend, based on Nov 1, 2026 prices.

How to use it in four steps:

  1. Open the Exclusive Channel details in-game and note your current pity and whether your next S-Rank is guaranteed.
  2. Find your row and read the "Polychrome needed" column.
  3. Subtract the Polychrome you already hold, plus 160 for every Encrypted Master Tape (don't forget the 10 Tapes from All-New Program).
  4. Cover what's left with the smallest pack combo from the pack table in the next section.

Example: you're at 70 pity on a 50/50 for Severian with 9,000 Polychrome and 10 Tapes saved. That's 9,000 + 1,600 = 10,600, so you're 7,000 short of 17,600. One 6480+1600 pack (8,080 Monochrome) covers it in one order.

8. Monochrome packs: price, pulls and the best value

Here's what each BitTopup pack buys in pulls, next to the official US App Store price for the same regular pack (prices checked Nov 1, 2026).

Every pack in this table is 9–13% below the official price, and the per-pull cost drops as the pack grows. The 6480+1600 pack is the sweet spot: $1.72 a pull versus $1.98 at the official price.

9. 3.3 spend priority: where each dollar goes furthest

If you're spending anything this patch, this is the order I'd go in:

  1. Inter-Knot Membership (in-game monthly pass). 300 Monochrome instantly plus 90 Polychrome a day for 30 days, 3,000 in total. That's nearly 19 pulls, as long as you log in daily. Wondering if the Inter-Knot Membership is worth it for your play style? That guide runs the per-pull numbers.
  2. New Eridu City Fund, Growth Plan (in-game battle pass). 680 Polychrome on purchase and 1,480 across the track, plus materials and a Lv.30 W-Engine selector that includes the new A-Rank Bloodmarrow Coffer. Purchases close Nov 30, 02:59 server time, so buy it once you're sure you'll level it.
  3. Bulk Monochrome for the banner you're committed to. The BitTopup 6480+1600 pack at $87.00 gives you 50 pulls at $1.72 each. Smaller packs are perfect for topping off a gap from the pity table.
  4. Cosmetics last. Phoenix outfits are 1,350 Monochrome each (2,350 for both) and Severian's is 1,350 from Nov 11. Nice to have, zero pulls.

10. How to top up Monochrome on BitTopup in 2 minutes

  1. Find your UID: it's in the bottom-left corner of the screen during gameplay, or on your Proxy Profile card from the main menu.
  2. Open the Zenless Zone Zero page on BitTopup and enter your UID.
  3. Pick your server: Asia, America, Europe or TW/HK/MO.
  4. Choose your pack and pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa, Mastercard or a popular local payment method.
  5. Check your in-game mailbox or Monochrome balance. Orders are typically completed within a few minutes.

No password needed: BitTopup only uses your UID and server, so you never share login details or verification codes. Customer support is available 24/7, and if an order is never delivered you get a full refund.

Pre-checkout checklist

  • Double-check every digit of your UID against the in-game Proxy Profile card.
  • Match the server to your UID prefix (per the ZZZ Fandom wiki UID page).
  • After paying, confirm the Monochrome landed in your mailbox or balance; restarting the client refreshes it.
  • Keep your order ID and confirmation email until the Monochrome shows up. Support can trace any order with your order ID and UID.

11. Questions players are asking right now

These came up again and again on X and Reddit between September and October 2026. Here are straight answers.

"How many pulls will I have when 3.4 drops if I skip 3.3?"

Take your current stash and add roughly 103 free limited pulls for the full patch (community estimate), or about 126 with Inter-Knot Membership. Remember the compensation mail expires on Nov 20, 23:59 (UTC+8), and the 10 All-New Program Tapes on Dec 1.

"I'm at pity 70 on a 50/50. Can I get Phoenix and still save for Sunbringer?"

Worst case for Phoenix from there is 110 pulls (17,600 Polychrome). If you win the 50/50 early, every leftover pull and your reset pity roll straight into the next Exclusive Channel. Pity carries over, so nothing is wasted.

"Do the collab banners share pity with normal banners?"

HoYoverse hasn't announced the collab banner format yet. Plan for the worst case: a separate 180-pull worst case for each collab Agent you want.

"Is Velina's signature W-Engine worth it on the rerun?"

Players are split: some guides call Joyau Dore close to mandatory, while many Reddit players get by with alternatives. If you're saving for 3.4, take the Agent and leave the W-Engine Channel alone.

"What's the main source of pulls for a new player?"

Story, exploration and achievements on top of the recurring sources in the free Polychrome table above. Shiyu Defense + Deadly Assault alone are worth an estimated 3,240 Polychrome this patch.

12. FAQ

When does the Phoenix banner end?

Nov 11, 2026 at 11:59 server time. That's Nov 11 11:59 for Asia and TW/HK/MO, Nov 11 18:59 (UTC+8) for Europe, and Nov 12 00:59 (UTC+8) for America.

When does Severian's banner start and end?

Phase II runs from Nov 11, 12:00 to Dec 1, 14:59 server time, with Norma's rerun alongside him.

Does my pity carry over from Phoenix to Severian?

Yes. The guaranteed-Signal count is cumulative across all Exclusive Channels. W-Engine Channels track their own count.

How many pulls is the 6480+1600 pack?

8,080 Monochrome = 50 pulls with 80 left over. On BitTopup that's $87.00, or $1.72 a pull.

How much Polychrome is a guaranteed limited S-Rank?

Up to 28,800 Polychrome (180 pulls) from zero pity without a guarantee, or 14,400 (90 pulls) if your next S-Rank is already guaranteed.

When does 3.3 end and 3.4 start?

3.3 ends Dec 2, 2026 at 06:00 (UTC+8), and 3.4 is expected to follow right after. Sunbringer is confirmed for 3.4.

What's the deadline for the 3.3 compensation?

Claim the 300-Polychrome issue-fix compensation before Nov 20, 2026, 23:59 (UTC+8).

How fast does a BitTopup top-up arrive?

Orders are typically completed within a few minutes and land in your in-game mailbox or Monochrome balance. Contact 24/7 support with your order ID if you need a hand.

Which payment methods can I use?

Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa, Mastercard and popular local payment methods.

Where do I find my UID?

Bottom-left of the screen during gameplay, or on your Proxy Profile card from the main menu. Prefix 10 = America, 13 = Asia, 15 = Europe, 17 = TW/HK/MO.

That's the whole plan. Pick your banner, check your pity row, grab the free Polychrome before each deadline, and top up only the gap. See you on the Exclusive Channel, Proxy.
