First of all, Sony believes that "Microsoft may completely surpass PlayStation through this acquisition! Because this transaction provides incredible strategic value to its real-time game services, mobile fields and PC storefronts (Battle.net)!" Secondly, , it is no surprise that Sony is most concerned about Game Pass and "COD", and is worried that Microsoft will use differentiation as a weapon in the future, combined with its subscription ecosystem, it may pose a huge threat to PlayStation. Finally, Sony also mentioned Microsoft’s Xbox store for mobile devices, which is reported to compete with mobile stores such as Apple & Google. Sony stated that it has fallen behind its opponents in many areas, and the company can only "expand scale" (acquisitions) and continue to focus on the current "sales model of high-quality games" as its core response. As for subscription services, PS+ cannot launch the first batch of masterpieces like XGP. Sony said that competition has made players more demanding, and their expectations for free and high-quality lineups have formed an unsustainable operating model. Therefore, funds still have to be invested in global on big-budget games at affordable prices.
