The lineup of four 5-star characters has already been confirmed: Ennef, Marani, Chasika, and Setaria.
Based on current predictions, Ennef and Setaria are highly likely to appear in the first half of the patch. There are two main reasons: first, it directly follows the recent Pyro Archon rerun, and second, the Spiral Abyss in July favors Cryo reactions—making Setaria’s rerun more likely. As such, Marani and Chasika are expected to feature in the second-half banners.
The summer event in Version 5.8 will also bring two new character skins. According to current leaks, they will be for Yelan and Bennett. Bennett’s new outfit will be obtainable for free through an event, completing the "Xiangling–Xingqiu–Bennett" trio’s set of free skins.
Yelan’s skin, on the other hand, will be a premium 5-star outfit with enhanced effects. While its full design hasn’t been revealed, it’s rumored to be swimsuit-themed with a small dress. Looking further ahead, Version 6.3's Lantern Rite event may also introduce a 5-star premium skin for the Hydro Dragon Sovereign, Neuvillette, something definitely worth looking forward to.
Interestingly, early information about the 6.0 banners has also been leaked. Two new 5-star characters are reportedly planned: Wendelair and Fitim.
Wendelair is said to be a charged-shot Bow user similar to Sethos, but will focus on Catalyze (Electro + Dendro) reactions.
Fitim will be a female Geo character with a Crystallize-based playstyle. Her unique mechanics apparently allow her to interact with other elements, somewhat reminiscent of a Geo version of Nilou, though details remain unclear.
Of course, with such a large gap between now and 6.0, everything is subject to change—so take all leaks with a grain of salt and enjoy the ride, Travelers!
