Strongest Dendro DPS: Xianyun (Kinich)
Previously, Alhaitham held the title of the top Dendro DPS. However, as Dendro’s overall scaling began to fall behind, and the “spread” reaction’s ceiling proved too low to keep up with the rising enemy HP, Alhaitham lost his dominance. Now, Kinich (基尼奇), with higher scaling and access to Natlan’s powerful mechanics, takes the crown as the strongest Dendro DPS in the current version.
Strongest Electro DPS: Valeria (Valeria)
Valeria brings excellent mechanics and a smooth gameplay experience, all while being low-cost to build. Her Overloaded team only needs one 5-star unit to deal solid damage, making her ideal for F2P players. However, compared to Hydro, Pyro, and Cryo, Electro lacks amplification reactions, so the overall burst potential (aside from old C2 Raiden) feels weaker. As a result, Electro DPS characters generally have lower presence.
Strongest Geo DPS: Navia
Among 5-star Geo DPS units — Navia, Arataki Itto, and Chiori — Chiori at low constellations is more of a sub-DPS. Navia, though a Geo character, doesn’t rely on Geo teammates, and instead thrives in mixed-element teams. Her Elemental Skill has huge burst potential. While she wields a claymore, her attacks are fluid and satisfying. Overall, she’s a very strong DPS pick.
Strongest Anemo DPS: Chascar
Before Chascar, Wanderer and Xiao were the two main Anemo DPS choices, each with unique strengths and playstyles. But now, even though Chascar doesn’t deal Anemo damage directly, since he’s still an Anemo unit, we have to count him. His kit revolves around elemental transformation bullets that trigger amplified reactions with high damage. His E-skill float + ranged attacks offer a comfortable and stylish DPS loop.
Strongest Hydro DPS: Neuvillette
Even in the current patch, C1 Neuvillette remains a top-tier T0 DPS. It’s not just about raw numbers — in fact, Marlanie has higher base stats. What makes Neuvillette so dominant is his perfect mechanics, which are still difficult to counter or replace. His team flexibility, adaptability, and smooth gameplay make him a fan favorite and an enduring powerhouse.
Strongest Pyro DPS: Marvicka
Pyro has always been a competitive element in Genshin — from Klee and Hu Tao, to Lyney, Arlecchino, and now Marvicka. Debate continues between Arlecchino and Marvicka for the Pyro crown, but Marvicka may come out on top overall. With incredible base stats, solid mechanics, and her powerful Natlan battleship setup, she dominates in both mono-Pyro and hybrid teams. Even with sub-optimal teammates, her damage still outclasses most carries.
Strongest Cryo DPS: Skirk
With the arrival of Skirk in version 5.7, she firmly claimed the title of strongest Cryo main DPS. She delivers the highest raw damage of all Cryo characters, and can function both as a field presence and quick-swap burst unit. Offering both sustained and burst output, Skirk is a nearly flawless on-field DPS.
