We're hard at work on an upcoming big update called "Sky War," and we hope to have it completed as soon as possible so everyone can see the results of our time there. I looked at the calendar some time ago and found that several weeks have passed since the Frost Festival update. We don’t want everyone to have to wait for the launch of new content before the Battle of Heaven. Fortunately, the calendar gods have brought another holiday just in time: Happy Chinese New Year to everyone!

People born in the Year of the Dragon are usually generous, wealthy, and very lucky. He must be a nice person. For those who don’t have the superpower of giving gifts given by the dragon, we have launched the red envelope-themed “Gift of the Golden Dragon”, which will be available from now until March 7. The usage of the gift is exactly like the name: the treasure can only be opened by the recipient after it has been given.

If you don't want to wait for others to give generously, we also have the traditional collection "Golden Dragon Treasure". Each collection or gift contains one of 17 Year of the Dragon-themed jewelry sets, and there is an additional chance of receiving a "Golden Dragon Gift" or new unique special effects.

Finally, each treasure (and gift) has a chance to unlock the "Legacy Dragon King", which is the first accessory created for the ruins and has two unique forms: Radiant and Dire. Now I finally have the opportunity to decorate the ruins with the mysterious dragon, just like I always wanted. In addition, as long as anyone in the game owns this accessory, everyone can see it.

In keeping with this theme of "dedication," we also have another gift for (almost) everyone: we're rolling out some new cheat detection code. Well, we actually launched it a few weeks ago, and we've accumulated quite a bit of cheating players over that time. As waves of bans roll out automatically, you may see even fewer of them in later games.

As usual, this update also contains a lot of bug fixes and feature optimizations:

Comprehensive fixes:
  • Fixed several issues that would cause the in-game guide to be unable to load (if you previously manually enabled the Steam background download function to solve this problem, you can now safely disable it again)
  • Fixed another issue where Roshan could move around: Night Stalker cast Dark Ascension when Roshan passed through the Twin Gates
  • Fixed an issue where captured outposts could still be channeled
  • Fixed an issue where the neutral item selection interface would be hidden when the button is released in some quick cast modes.
  • Fixed an issue where Double-sided Coin only provided +2 Mana Regeneration instead of +2.5
  • Fixed an issue where the magic resistance of the Eternal Vestments would be inherited by illusions
  • Fixed interaction between Aeon's Vestments and Medusa's Magic Shield
  • Fixed an issue where the description of the safety bubble did not mention that the shield was ineffective against self-inflicted damage
  • Fixed a special effect issue with Shiva's Guardian
  • Fixed an issue where the gold gained from Chen's Divine Persuasion when cast on minions in haste mode was not taking into account the haste mode gold multiplier
  • Fixed an issue where Legion Commander’s Aghanim Crystal would also provide overwhelming bonus armor and duration
  • Fixed an issue where Marcy's Fist of Fury would trigger a pulse when picking up and dropping Bloodstones
  • Fixed the issue where Qiong Ying Bi Ling’s magic gun could be purified while in hand
  • Fixed the issue where the Ogre Mage's multi-casting shortcut keys were invalid, resulting in the inability to upgrade skills.
  • Fixed an issue where inactive Phantom Lancer illusions could prevent monsters from spawning
  • Fixed a rare server crash caused by Beast's Zha
  • Fixed an issue where the Absolute Blade and Harpoon would not be displayed in the store in vertical layout
  • The item expansion description adds the magic resistance provided by intelligence and the attack power provided by each attribute of the versatile hero.
  • In boost mode, "Both players selected [hero]" will be displayed to everyone, not just players who want to select the same hero.
  • Windrunner's Ring of Breeze has added the skill icon of Wind Power.
  • Improved performance when displaying multiple chat messages in everyone's channel
  • Corrected text descriptions for several skills
  • The prompt content displayed during pause has been updated accordingly for the 7.35b gameplay version.

Skill recruitment mode fixes:
  • Several Scepter/Magic Crystal skills that were previously unavailable are now available, and some skills need to be cast through the automatic casting switch of basic skills:
    • The marksman talent will provide glacier
    • Ice Forbidden will provide ice clones
    • Crossing the line provides a parting shot
    • Rushing will provide immediate success
    • Bone Hidden Steps will provide blazing rain of fire
    • Shadow Steps provide Shadow Friendship
    • Counterspell will provide friendly counterspells
    • Arc Lightning provides Thunder Hands
    • Death Pact provides the Burning Army
    • Fire Blast provides unmastered Fire Blast
    • Vicious plague will provide poisonous nova (the passive skill icon of poisonous nova is hidden)
  • Chemical Rage now provides Greevil's Greed. Will be displayed as a status icon instead of a skill in the skill bar.
  • Fixed the issue where Spirit Bear does not have any skills.
  • Fixed an issue where Blinding Light was not shown as an optional skill.
  • Fixed the issue where the Alchemist has 4 basic skills when selecting skills, causing other skills to be pushed back one space.
  • Swordsman no longer offers Sleep Darts.
  • Tidehunter's Magic Crystal now provides Heavy Anchors instead of Abyssal Tentacles.
  • Invoker's magic crystal has been updated from the original upgraded chaos meteorite to upgraded electromagnetic pulse.
  • Proximity mines now provide minefield markers as a perk.
  • Fixed an issue where melee heroes would not inherit the attack effects of Shadow Wave and Dream Coil's Scepter.
  • Fixed an issue where illusions would inherit ghosts when possessing the Scepter.
  • Fixed an issue where the Ogre Mage's built-in skill was Multicast instead of Foolish.
  • Fixed an issue where Cosmic Leap, Pulse Nova, Rot, Infernal Blade, and several other skills would not provide the Burning Soul stacking effect.
  • Fixed the issue where the corresponding original hero would not display the corresponding talent after selecting Star Breaker, Ember Brew, Phantom Charge and Energy Gear.
  • Fixed an issue where Death Search could not be switched via shortcut keys.
  • Fixed being unable to switch between Warhawk and Porcupine by switching Call of the Wild Warhawk.
  • Fixed the issue where shortcut keys would not be displayed before switching.
  • Fixed an issue where Chemical Frenzy's Scepter effect would not provide additional attack damage and skill enhancements.
  • Fixed an issue where Magic Crystals would provide long-horned projectiles instead of Aghanim's Scepters.
  • Fixed Aghanim's Scepter providing Rain of Destiny instead of Magic Crystal.
  • Fixed the correspondence between Hunter's Boomerang and Lure Enemy Magic and Magic Crystal/Aghan's Scepter.
  • Fixed the issue where the Timbersaw would obtain the Sawtooth Flywheel (2) after possessing the Scepter. Now only available through talent if Timbersaw selects Sawtooth Wheel.
