According to the latest updates, in the first half of Version 3.4, alongside the new character Jade, we’ll also see the return of Topaz, Sparkle, and Sunday.
This means the previously rumored solo rerun for Firefly has been revised again—Sunday will be featured alongside Jade, confirming his strong value as a support unit. As for Topaz and Sparkle, they’re naturally a big help for Memory of Chaos teams and for those who need Crit-focused supports or sub-DPS. Players who already have them will have a much easier time.
It’s also worth noting that in the second half of the banner, aside from Firefly, the characters set to receive buffs will also be included. Since Blade has already been added to the Stellar Warp "Bygone Reminiscence", it’s unlikely he’ll get a standalone rerun banner. With the long-running Fate Collaboration banner and so many reruns, the second half's revenue should be well secured.
Looking at the overall plan for Version 3.4, a total of 11 characters will be featured, including a special limited-time Fate collaboration banner! It’s clear that the devs are targeting players’ Stellar Jades—and wallets! Many Trailblazers have already seen through the developer’s little tricks.
That said, the classic advice still holds true: new players should prioritize pulling new characters, not old ones! As for veterans, outside of favorite characters, consider upgrading star levels for the newly buffed units.
As for the previously rumored 5-star character shop update, there’s been no new content confirmed. It’s expected to arrive between Version 3.6 and 3.8. If you haven’t exchanged for Ruan Mei or Luocha yet, it might be a good idea to hold onto your currency and wait for future updates.
