Arctic 4-piece was once the go-to for Ice DPS, but after Eileen's rework in 2.0, she now performs better with Like Shadows 4. Meanwhile, Star Jinya prefers her signature set, Branchblade, and Hugo works better with Hormone 4 for fast-swap burst comps. That said, the Arctic 2-piece still sees solid value due to its stat boosts and versatility for Ice characters.
“Free Jazz”
The main reason to run this instance is for the Free Jazz set:
2-piece boosts Anomaly Mastery.
4-piece lowers enemy anomaly resistance, increasing coverage.
Free Jazz 4-piece is commonly used by Nicole and Koleda. Characters like Vivian, Soukaku, Bennis, and Jian also benefit from Free Jazz 2-piece for functional builds. If you’re short on Phaethon 2 pieces, this set is a solid alternative.
That said, this instance ranks lowest among the top 5, and most players are advised to prioritize the other four first.
TOP 4: Hunter & Killer
“Primitive Punk”
A highly versatile support Drive:
2-piece iboosts shield strength—must-have for Caesar and Seth.
4-piece grants a flat +15% damage bonus when triggering Parry or Dodge Support. While it lacks the ceiling of Quiet Resonance, it’s extremely easy to trigger and highly stable—making it widely usable across support builds.
“Chaos Jazz”
A specialized set for quick-swap Electro or Fire anomaly DPS:
Mainly used by Bennis and Soukaku (as a sub-DPS in Star Jinya teams).
It has a short farming cycle since anomaly sets are easier to roll.
With Vivian’s release, Soukaku has returned to more main-DPS builds, slightly reducing the value of Chaos 4, but it remains a solid option. Recommended if you need fast, targeted farming.
TOP 3: Ranger & Guard
“Like Shadows”
This is the signature set for the Chase system:
2-piece boosts Dash and Chase damage.
4-piece builds stacks through those attacks, granting up to +12% ATK and +12% Crit Rate.
Perfect for Anby, and also works well on Eileen, Billy, and Pocona. Its versatility in 2.0 makes it a great farm.
“Phaethon’s Song”
2-piece gives Anomaly Control, unique among all sets—ideal for status DPS builds.
4-piece is Vivian’s exclusive set, offering +45 Anomaly Mastery and +25% Ether Damage.
If you’ve pulled Vivian, this is a must-farm set for maximum value.
TOP 2: Monster Duet Instance
“Branchblade Ballad”
2-piece provides +16% Crit DMG—one of the best general DPS buffs.
4-piece is Star Jinya’s signature set, adding +30% Crit DMG and +12% Crit Rate.
Even though Branchblade 4 is exclusive to Jinya, she remains a top-tier DPS, so farming until full stat optimization is absolutely worthwhile—even for future rerun prep.
“Quiet Resonance”
2-piece gives +10% ATK.
4-piece grants up to +24% teamwide bonus damage via Quick Assist entry (8% per stack, 3 stacks total).
This is Yao Quiet’s signature support set and currently the best universal support Drive. The 2-piece is extremely versatile—great with both Crit-focused and Anomaly-focused substats.
Given how strong and flexible both sets are, this instance is your best option once you finish farming Yi Xuan’s set.
TOP 1: Tongue & Blade Instance
“Clouds Like Mountains”
This is the exclusive set for Yi Xuan, the top-tier 2.0 DPS:
2-piece provides HP.
4-piece offers +12% Crit Rate and +10% Penetration Damage.
Even the 2-piece is highly specialized for Yi Xuan. Since most players have already pulled her and are building her up, Clouds 4 becomes a top priority.
Additionally, if you have her signature weapon and cinematic (Mindscape 1), keeping her Crit Rate under 58% is challenging—triple-drop events make farming this set far more efficient.
“King of the Hill”
This newly released universal Break set shines:
2-piece adds +6% Stagger.
4-piece grants a +30% teamwide Crit DMG bonus when the user (with ≥50% Crit Rate) triggers an Enhanced Skill or Chain Attack.
It’s easy to activate and very strong. Compatible with most current Break units like Billy, Koleda, Lycaon, and Light (not Qingyi). The only exceptions are some niche builds—e.g., Lycaon with Quiet Resonance in Aya-Wolf-Koleda comps. Overall, this set is incredibly versatile and worth long-term farming.

The most worthwhile instance to farm during the 2.0 Triple Drive Drop Event is undoubtedly Tongue & Blade, featuring Yi Xuan’s exclusive and the new universal Break set. Following that, Monster Duet offers high utility and power for both DPS and supports. If time and stamina permit, Like Shadows or Raw Punk are decent third picks. As for the Ice Drive instance, it has fallen to fifth and is now a lower priority for most players.
