Region lock is the server record written when you first create the account. Shop currency, event list, matchmaking pool, and which support desk you reach all follow that record. First-launch IP (and often SIM or store country) sets it. A later login IP does not rewrite it.

Can you play Free Fire Brazil server from India?
An existing India account stays on India. Settings has no Change Region row. The old “S8 change region once a day” line belongs to other titles, not Free Fire MAX on IND or BR.
