Every day you delay costs you locked Diamonds you can't recover. Start here.
Timeline & Structure
The event runs 17 days, but the limited SSR banner doesn't activate until March 13 — giving you a clean pre-banner window (March 6–12) to stack Diamonds before any pull decisions.
| Date | What Happens |
|---|---|
| March 5, 2026 | Server maintenance 10:00–11:00 GMT+8 |
| March 6, 2026 | White Day Event opens |
| March 12, 2026 | Gift code IT7BQGSC1V expires |
| March 13, 2026 | Limited SSR banner activates |
| March 22, 2026 | Hard deadline — 23:59 UTC |
This isn't a grind-based point system. Rewards come from submitting couple-themed PLOGs or screenshots to the official Discord channel (💖┊white-valentine) or the Steam event page, with your UID and a description. Tier eligibility depends on submission type and community voting — not raw playtime. That distinction changes your entire approach.
Locked Diamond Tiers Explained
| Tier | Diamonds | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Participation Reward | 100 (locked) | Any valid submission |
| Consolation Prize | 888 (locked) | NPC couple photo submission |
| Lucky Award | 500 (locked) | Joint submission with another player |
| Best Couple Award | 1,000 (locked) | Top-3 community vote ranking |
Two things most players get wrong here.
First, Participation stacks with all other tiers — officially confirmed. Win the Consolation Prize and you also get the 100 Participation Diamonds, bringing your NPC solo total to 988 locked Diamonds.
Second, the Lucky Award (500) is lower than the Consolation Prize (888). If you don't have a partner, going solo via NPC is the better Diamond outcome — by 388 Diamonds. Don't scramble for a partner just to earn less.
Maximum possible: Best Couple (1,000) + Participation (100) = 1,100 locked Diamonds. Consolation and Lucky Awards are mutually exclusive with Best Couple in practice. Chasing Best Couple requires top-3 community votes — not worth optimizing around unless you already have an engaged partner and audience.
F2P target: 988 locked Diamonds. That's it. Submit with an NPC, collect both tiers, move on.
All Free Diamond Sources During the Event
White Day locked Diamonds stack on top of your regular income. Combined, that total determines whether you can act on the limited SSR banner.
| Source | Estimated Diamonds (March 6–22) |
|---|---|
| White Day Consolation + Participation | 988 (locked) |
| Gift code IT7BQGSC1V | 20–80 |
| Daily missions (17 days) | 50–85 |
| Login bonuses (17 days) | 17–34 |
| Club rewards (partial month) | 15–30 |
| Achievement Gallery audit (one-time) | 50–200 |
| Total estimate | ~1,140–1,417 |
A few notes on specific sources:
- Gift code IT7BQGSC1V — Redeem before March 12. Path: Profile icon → Gift Code → enter → Redeem. One-time use, hard expiry. Do it now.

- Achievement Gallery — Community testing consistently shows 50–200 Diamonds sitting unclaimed. Check it weekly. Easiest source most players ignore.
- Login streak — Peaks at Day 7, 14, and 28. Set an alarm 30 minutes before server midnight. Missing a day near a peak costs disproportionately.
- Club rewards — If you're in an inactive club, switch now. An active club over 17 days can mean 30+ Diamonds from this source alone.
New accounts have an additional edge: 600+ Diamonds from first-month achievements stack on top of everything above. Your ceiling is higher than these estimates.
Daily Farming Checklist (Now Through March 22)
Before anything else — submit your White Day photo today. Everything else is secondary to that one action.
Immediate (do these now):
- Redeem IT7BQGSC1V before March 12
- Submit your couple-themed PLOG/screenshot to Discord 💖┊white-valentine or Steam with your UID and description

- Use an NPC if you don't have a partner — Consolation (888) beats Lucky Award (500)
- Audit your Achievement Gallery and claim everything pending
Daily routine through March 22:
- Complete daily missions first — community testing shows aligning them with event-related activities can double your Diamond yield per session
- Log in every evening to protect your streak
- Check club activity and verify no new achievements unlocked
Weekly checkpoint:
- On track for login streak peaks (Day 7/14/28)?
- Club rewards claimed for the week?
- New achievements in the Gallery?
The White Day submission is a one-time action. After that, consistent daily execution on the smaller sources is what separates players who hit 1,400 Diamonds from those who hit 900.
Pity Math: Where White Day Diamonds Actually Fit
Most guides skip this. Locked Diamonds from events count toward limited banner pity — officially confirmed. This changes how you think about the March 13–22 banner window entirely.
Hard pity: 4,480 Diamonds (28 pulls × 160 Diamonds). Worst-case 50/50 SSR: 8,960 Diamonds. Soft pity begins elevating SSR rates around pulls 20–28 based on community testing.
Before you pull anything, check your current pity: Gacha menu → pull history → count pulls since your last limited idol.

| Pity Position | Diamonds to Hard Pity | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
| Pull 1–14 | 2,240–4,320 | Skip unless you have 4,480+ saved |
| Pull 15–19 | 1,440–2,240 | Evaluate total reserves carefully |
| Pull 20–23 | 800–1,440 | Soft pity active — community says commit |
| Pull 24+ | ≤640 | Pull to hard pity; you're in range |
| Pull 27 | 160 | One pull to guaranteed SSR |
At pull 24, you need exactly 640 Diamonds to reach hard pity. If your White Day + daily farming covers that gap, pulling makes sense. If not, the community-observed 70/30 rule applies: spend no more than 70% of your reserves on a single banner.
One critical warning: pity does not carry over between limited banners. Whatever you accumulate resets when this banner closes March 22. Don't let that pressure you into pulling before you're ready — but factor it into your decision.
If you're close to a pity threshold and the farming math leaves you just short, players have been using Idol Party Diamonds cheap top up during White Day event 2026 to close that gap — and recharging early rather than last-day, since community members flagged timezone and server load delays near the March 22 deadline as a real issue.
F2P vs Light Spender: Realistic Projections
Pure F2P hitting 988 locked Diamonds from White Day alone, plus daily sources, lands around 1,140–1,417 Diamonds for the full event window. What that means for the banner:
- At pull 15+: Your F2P stack may be enough to reach soft pity range
- At pull 1: You're not reaching hard pity this event without spending — and that's fine
- Standard banners: Don't pull them during a limited event. Standard and limited pity pools are completely separate. Every Diamond spent on standard contributes nothing to your limited banner pity
Light spender reality check: Top-3 gifting (the Best Couple path via spending) requires a minimum of 5,376 Diamonds. Community consensus is unanimous — not a F2P target. The Consolation Prize at 888 is the correct objective.
The Locked Diamond Mistake Most Players Make
Most guides treat locked Diamonds as a separate resource. They're not. Locked Diamonds from events, codes, and missions all count toward limited banner pity.
The practical implication: never exclude locked Diamonds when calculating your gap to pity. A player ignoring their 988 locked White Day Diamonds might think they're 988 Diamonds short of a pull threshold when they're already there.
Correct workflow:
- Collect all locked Diamonds (event, codes, missions)
- Add free Diamonds
- Calculate total against your current pity position
- Then decide whether to pull or save
Pull in batches of 10, reassess after each batch, and use locked Diamonds first before calculating any remaining gap.
Late Joiner Catch-Up (Reading This After March 13?)
Submit your White Day photo immediately. The window is still open until March 22. You haven't missed the Consolation Prize.
What you've missed:
- Gift code IT7BQGSC1V (expired March 12)
- Login streak days from missed logins
- Daily mission Diamonds from missed days
Triage:
- Protect: White Day submission (988 locked Diamonds) — still fully available
- Recover: Achievement Gallery audit — one-time, still claimable
- Accept: Missed dailies and login days are gone
A player joining March 15 with 7 days remaining can still realistically accumulate 988 locked Diamonds (event) + 50–150 from remaining dailies/logins/club. The event submission dominates — late joiners aren't as far behind as they feel.
What late joiners should absolutely not do: panic-pull on the standard banner. It doesn't contribute to limited pity and wastes the Diamonds you need for March 13–22.
For players wanting to bridge the gap before March 22, buy Idol Party Diamonds discounted recharge March 2026 and recharge early — not last-day.
Common Mistakes That Cost Tiers
Submitting with a partner when you don't have one lined up. Lucky Award = 500 Diamonds. Consolation Prize = 888 Diamonds. Solo NPC is the correct F2P play. Don't lose 388 Diamonds chasing a partner.
Pulling standard banners during the event. Separate pity pools. Every Diamond spent on standard during March 6–22 is wasted relative to your limited banner goal.
Ignoring locked Diamonds in pity math. Always include them. You might already be at your threshold.
Waiting until March 21–22 to recharge. Server load and timezone delays are real near event deadlines. Top up by March 19 at the latest.
Skipping the Achievement Gallery. 50–200 Diamonds sitting unclaimed. Two minutes to check. Do it weekly.
FAQ
When does the event end? March 22, 2026 at 23:59 UTC. Hard deadline, no extensions announced.
Can F2P players reach all tiers? Consolation (888) + Participation (100) = 988 locked Diamonds is fully F2P via NPC submission. Best Couple (1,000) requires top-3 community votes — not a reliable F2P target. Lucky Award (500) requires a partner and yields less than the solo NPC path anyway.
Do locked Diamonds count toward limited banner pity? Yes — officially confirmed. Never exclude them from your pull calculations.
I missed the gift code — can I still get it? No. IT7BQGSC1V expired March 12. Focus on remaining sources: White Day submission, dailies, login streak, club rewards, Achievement Gallery.
Does pity carry over to the next banner? No. Pity resets when the March 13–22 banner closes.
What if I don't claim rewards before March 22? Based on standard event mechanics, unclaimed locked rewards expire with the event. Claim everything before 23:59 UTC March 22. No rerun or second-chance window has been announced.
Should I pull at pull 20? Soft pity is active. You need 1,280 Diamonds to reach hard pity from pull 20. If your total reserves (including locked Diamonds) cover that, committing is statistically favorable. If not, apply the 70/30 rule.
Submit your photo today, redeem the code if it's still live, run your daily checklist through March 22. Players who miss tiers aren't outspent — they're out-organized.
