Core Dust in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is the material you spend at set level gates. You farm it from Outpost Defense, daily missions, event shops, and Coordinated Operation cases. Bookmark the page. We rewrite the tables when Shift Up changes a gate, a shop price, or the Outpost cap.
Updated on 2026-08-24: PERSONA ON FRONTLINE is live through 10 September 2026 (UTC+9). The 13 August patch raised the Outpost Defense cap to 800 and added Campaign Chapters 47 and 48. Coordinated Operation weekends on 21–24 and 28–31 August feed Broken Cores into Recycling Shop Core Dust Cases.

Core Dust snapshot (August 2026)
Fact | Current value |
|---|
What it buys | Character level gates, then Synchro Device levels after 200 |
Gate levels | 11, 21, 41, 61, 81, 101, 121, 141, 161, 181 |
Cost, one Nikke 1→200 | 30,040 Core Dust |
Cost, five Synchro cores 1→200 | 150,200 Core Dust |
After 200 | 10,000 per Synchro level through 350, then +1,000 every 50 levels |
SR / R cap | SR stops at 160. R has no Limit Break |
SSR 160→200 | Needs Max Limit Break (3 copies past base) |
Outpost storage | 24 hours at full rate (changed 10 November 2023) |
Overflow | 15% after the 24-hour tank fills |

Daily missions | 50 Core Dust at 20 activity points |
Wipe Out | 2 hours of Credits, Battle Data, Core Dust, gear. No Commander EXP. 1 free + 10× 50 Gems |

Level gates and exact costs
You spend Core Dust on the level that crosses the gate. Level 40 to 41 costs 80. Levels 42 through 60 cost Credits and Battle Data only. The 2025 page said you pay at 39 to reach 40. That is the wrong rung.
You are going to | Core Dust due | Cumulative on that Nikke |
|---|
11 | 20 | 20 |
21 | 40 | 60 |
41 | 80 | 140 |
61 | 400 | 540 |
81 | 1,000 | 1,540 |
101 | 2,000 | 3,540 |
121 | 4,500 | 8,040 |
141 | 7,000 | 15,040 |
161 | 7,000 | 22,040 |
181 | 8,000 | 30,040 |
200 | 0 extra gate | 30,040 |
Core Dust starts to hurt at 101. Event shops should put Core Dust Cases above raw Credits once your five mains sit near that wall.
Five Max Limit Break SSRs at 200 unlock Synchro Device Enhancement. From 201 you feed Credits, Battle Data, and Core Dust into the device. The five mains lock to the top row. Synchro level is the new cap for every slotted Nikke, including an SR that would otherwise stop at 160. The device cap rises as new SSRs ship. See the Synchro Device gem math if you are deciding between slots and more Wipe Outs.
A 10-Gem level reset returns 100% of the Credits, Battle Data, and Core Dust spent on levels. It does not return Skill Manuals or gear.

How to farm Core Dust
There is no campaign stage that dumps raw Core Dust the way a gold stage dumps Credits. Hourly Outpost output plus timed cases beat random grinding.
Open Outpost Defense and claim before the 24-hour bar fills. Past 24 hours you still earn, at 15%.
Take the free Wipe Out. It pays 2 hours of Credits, Battle Data, Core Dust, and gear. It skips Commander EXP.
Hit 20 daily-mission points and take the 50 Core Dust.
Clear the next 5 campaign stages (Normal or Hard). Each bundle raises Outpost Defense by 1. Push a few stages before you open time-based cases so the case uses the new hourly rate.
Finish Tactics Academy 3-2 (+10% Core Dust, 15,000 Credits), 6-2 (+15%, 120,000), and 9-2 (+20%, 900,000). The three lessons stack to +45%.
Empty story-event shops after Hard unlocks. Buy Core Dust Cases before raw Core Dust unless you are already past 200 and converting leftover Battle Data.
During Coordinated Operation, spend Broken Cores on Core Dust Cases in the Recycling Shop.
In the General Shop, buy Core Dust listed for Credits once your Synchro line sits at 200. Before 200, spend those Credits on raw Battle Data.
Early Outpost 1 prints about 14 Core Dust per hour, about 336 in a full 24-hour claim, plus 50 from dailies and about 28 from the free Wipe Out. Outpost 50 sits near 27 per hour (about 39 with Academy maxed). Copy the hourly number on your own Defense screen. Third-party tables skip your Academy bonus if you paste the in-game rate.

Outpost Defense and Tactics Academy
Outpost Defense unlocks in the early campaign (after 2-12 on most accounts). Tactics Academy unlocks at 3-6. Synchro Device unlocks at 4-15. Recycling Room (Consoles) unlocks at 5-10.
The 13 August 2026 client raised the Defense level cap to 800 so Chapters 47 and 48 still raise your hourly line. Official dates and trailers sit on the NIKKE site and NIKKE_en.
Rule | Number |
|---|
Stages per Outpost level | 5 (Normal and Hard both count) |
Full-rate tank | 24 hours |
Overflow | 15% |
Wipe Out | 2 hours, no EXP |
Daily Wipe Out budget | 1 free + 10 paid |
Paid Wipe Out | 50 Gems each |
Extra drops | RE-Energy from Defense Lv. 16. Ultra Boost Modules from Lv. 101 |
Command Center is Advise, jukebox, Recollection, and Archives. It is not the building that unlocks other plots. Campaign buildings (Train Station, Generator, Hospital, Church, Shopping Mall, Goddess of Victory, Fitness Club) unlock Academy classes. Infrastructure Core achievements add shop resets and stamina. Common Shop free refresh +1 lands around Infra stage 11.
Recycling Room spends Consoles: Common for all-Nikke HP, Class for HP/DEF, Manufacturer for ATK/DEF. That is a separate sink from Broken Cores.

Wipe Out gem check
Ten paid Wipe Outs cost 500 Gems and pay 20 hours. At 30 Core Dust per hour that is 600 Core Dust. One Special Recruit pull is 300 Gems. Use paid Wipe Outs when a 121, 141, 161, or 181 gate blocks a campaign or tower floor you can clear the same day. Park Gems for limited banners the rest of the week.
Broken Cores and Core Dust Cases
Broken Cores drop from Coordinated Operation (Co-op), plus rank mail. Extra recruit copies go to Limit Break, Core Up, or Body Labels.
PERSONA ON FRONTLINE runs a special Co-op (Gatekeeper) across three weekends: 14–17, 21–24, and 28–31 August 2026 (UTC+9). The shop stays open for the event window. Next window starts 28 August.
Recycling Shop Core Dust stock (weekly):
Case | Cost | Weekly cap | Hours of Defense output |
|---|
Core Dust Case (1 hour) | 100 Broken Cores | 6 | 1 hour each |
Core Dust Case (2 hours × 3) | 575 Broken Cores | 5 | 6 hours per purchase |
Buy both lines first. Gems in that shop are optional. Bond vouchers wait.
Where to put Core Dust
Level five mains in lockstep. Synchro Level equals the lowest of those five. A sixth Nikke in a Synchro slot copies that level. Spreading gates across ten bodies leaves you with ten units stuck at 80 and a campaign you cannot push.
Slot | Job |
|---|
Main 1–2 | Burst III damage you use in campaign and raids |
Main 3 | Burst II that you will not swap |
Main 4 | Burst I or cover repair |
Main 5 | Flex (element, manufacturer, or a wall-break kit) |
Synchro slots | Tribe Tower, Interception, and event counters. Leave their levels to the device |
Hold a reserve equal to one 121 gate (4,500) once you live past 100. New limited SSRs from PERSONA ON FRONTLINE still need the same gates. Queen (Makoto) and Yukiko are Fire Attackers. Aigis is a free SR from the event and the 14-day login. SR Aigis can sit in Synchro. She cannot be one of the five 200 cores.
For the 160 wall itself (five MLB SSRs), use the 2026 SSR selector picks.

F2P and light-spend routes
F2P: claim on a 24-hour cycle, take the free Wipe Out, finish Academy Core Dust lessons, and park extra Gems for banners. Reset a mis-leveled main for 10 Gems before you keep feeding it.
Mission Pass and limited Core Dust packs beat raw Gem Wipe Outs if you log in daily. First-purchase Gem tiers double the base pile once per pack size. Codes and login mail add a few more Gems. Current lists: NIKKE redeem codes.
Expired: 2025 copy you should ignore

FAQ
How much Core Dust do I need per day?
You need the next gate, not a daily quota. One 101 gate is 2,000. Five 101 gates are 10,000. At 400 Core Dust per day that is 25 days. Read your Outpost hourly rate, multiply by 26 (24-hour claim + free Wipe Out), add 50.
Should I spend Gems on Wipe Outs or on pulls?
Take the free Wipe Out every day. Pay 50 Gems only when a numbered gate blocks a stage you can finish today. Save Gems during a limited banner week.
Which Tactics Academy lessons raise Core Dust?
3-2 (+10%, 15,000 Credits), 6-2 (+15%, 120,000), 9-2 (+20%, 900,000). Total +45%. 6-2 needs the Church and lesson 6-1. 9-2 needs the Fitness Club and lesson 9-1.
How does the Synchro Device change spending?
You fund five mains to 200, then fund the device. Slotted Nikkes copy that level. You stop buying individual gates for the rest of the roster.
How do I farm Broken Cores?
Play Coordinated Operation on event weekends and claim rank rewards. There is no campaign farm. PERSONA ON FRONTLINE Co-op runs again 28–31 August 2026.
How do I undo a bad Core Dust spend?
Open the Nikke, reset levels for 10 Gems, take the full Credits / Battle Data / Core Dust refund, then feed the five mains only.
Conclusion
Use the gate table. Claim Outpost inside 24 hours, take the free Wipe Out, finish Academy 3-2 / 6-2 / 9-2, and dump Broken Cores into both Core Dust Case lines while Gatekeeper is up. Keep five mains in a tight band through 200, then move the bill to Synchro. We will refresh the gate and shop rows after the next client note. If a wall is sitting on Chapters 47–48 this week, use the NIKKE Gem top-up.
